AKA: Female Monster of Gorgon Class: Rider Attribute: Earth Height: 172 cm Weight: 57 kg Origin: Greek Mythology Region: Greece, Shapeless Isle Alignment: Chaotic-Good Gender: Female

Stats: Strength: B Endurance: D Agility: A Mana: B Luck: E NP: A+

Medusa was born as the youngest of the Gorgon sisters, alongside Stheno and Euryale. Unlike her sisters, who remained perfect immortal idols, Medusa changed over time and eventually became the monster remembered as the Gorgon. She lived with her sisters on the Shapeless Isle, where humans came seeking them, and Medusa fought to protect the island and the sisters she loved. As she continued killing intruders and absorbing blood, her nature deteriorated further, until she became a full monster and ultimately devoured Stheno and Euryale. She was later slain by Perseus, who used divine tools to overcome her Mystic Eyes and beheaded her.

As a Heroic Spirit, Medusa is summoned in the Rider class, carrying the memory of the Gorgon’s legend but appearing in a more controlled, humanlike state rather than as her fully monstrous self. She retains her quiet, restrained personality, her loyalty to her Master, and the burden of knowing what she became in life.

Appearance: Medusa has pale ivory skin and a slim, curvy build with a narrow waist, soft shoulders, long legs, and a full bust. Her visible frame is lightly built and flexible, with a fitted costume emphasizing her torso, hips, and thighs. She has extremely long violet hair that falls past her body in thick, straight sections. The hair is parted near the center, with long front strands hanging down over her chest and thinner locks trailing outward behind her. Several strands are narrow and ribbon-like, extending across the image in smooth purple lengths. Her eyes are pale violet. She has red markings across her forehead, formed from sharp angular lines arranged in a broken, zigzag-like pattern above the brows. She wears a small black choker around her neck with magenta trim and a tiny pale diamond-shaped detail at the front. Her outfit is a black and magenta fitted combat-style costume with a strapless upper section and a deep neckline. The bust area is black with magenta edging and curved panels, leaving the upper chest and shoulders exposed. Long black arm coverings extend from above the elbows down to the wrists, with glossy magenta bands near the upper arms and matching magenta trim along the forearms. The gloves leave her fingers uncovered. The lower outfit is high-cut and asymmetrical, with black fabric wrapping around the hips and upper thighs. Magenta trim forms sharp angular borders around the openings and along the edges of the garment. One thigh is heavily exposed, while black thigh-high sections cover the legs in uneven shapes with pointed magenta accents. She is surrounded by metal chained weapons. The chains are dark silver with thick linked segments, connected to heavy cylindrical handles and spiked circular heads. The weapon heads have curved blades, pointed studs, and metallic gray surfaces with darker shaded seams.

Personality: Medusa as a Rider-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order is quiet, reserved, and mature, with a calm temperament that can make her seem distant at first. She is not especially talkative, but she is observant, protective, and dependable once she accepts someone as her Master. Unlike more openly emotional Servants, she usually keeps her feelings controlled and acts with restraint, though she still carries deep sensitivity beneath that composed exterior. She is also conscious of being remembered as a monster, which gives her a lonely, self-effacing quality, but she does not let that prevent her from serving faithfully.

Her most important relationships are tied to the Gorgon sisters and to her Master at Chaldea. She shows deep affection and complicated loyalty toward her sisters, Stheno and Euryale, who remain central to her identity even when their treatment of her can be difficult. With the Master of Chaldea, Medusa is obedient and protective without being overly familiar, acting more like a quiet guardian than a cheerful companion. She also has a notable connection to her younger form, Ana, and her monstrous Gorgon aspect, since they represent different stages of the same tragic existence.

Noble Phantasm: Bellerophon (Bridle of Chivalry) Bellerophon, the Bridle of Chivalry, is Medusa’s Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. It is a paired bridle and whip used to control and unleash Pegasus, drastically increasing the Phantasmal Beast’s power, speed, and defensive strength. Once activated, Medusa and Pegasus charge as one, turning the attack into a massive high-speed assault capable of tearing through multiple enemies rather than a simple one-on-one strike.

Noble Phantasm Quote: "Please allow me to kindly crush you. Bellerophon!"

Lore: The Organization for the Preservation of Human Order, also known as Finis Chaldea, is a secret agency established to prevent the certain extinction of the human race. Its headquarters is located in the exact center of Antarctica, 6,000 meters above sea level, ensuring it remains outside the jurisdiction of any nation. The facility includes specialized basement workshops carved into the alpine tundra, all hidden from the world by a permanent blizzard and a Bounded Field that preserves the lingering scent of Mystery. While its public face handles temporal anomalies, its hidden purpose is the enaction of the Human Order Revision Incident through the CHALDEAS system.

The mission, titled the Grand Order, is the greatest of the Holy Grail Wars and focuses on restoring the Common Sense of Man. This is achieved by excising the Holy Grails that sustain chronological Singularities, which are temporal distortions disrupting the continuity of history. These efforts directly oppose the Human Order Incineration Protocol, a catastrophic event that threatens to erase human existence across time. Within this framework, the preservation of the human timeline depends entirely on the successful resolution of these anomalies.

Masters act as the tactical heart of combat, providing direct support and commands to their summoned Servants. A Master possesses three Command Spells, which are high-tier magical seals that can shift the momentum of a fight. These seals require 24 hours to recharge once used. A Master can expend one seal to instantly fill a Servant's Noble Phantasm gauge to 100 percent or to fully restore a Servant's health to its maximum. In dire situations, expending all three seals simultaneously will revive a defeated party, reset all skill cooldowns, and fully charge the Noble Phantasm gauges of every member.

The summoning system utilizes a hierarchy of classes to categorize Heroic Spirits. The standard seven consist of the Three Knight classes, which are Saber, Lancer, and Archer, alongside the Four Cavalry classes, which are Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker. Beyond these are the Extra Classes, which are considered foreign to Proper Human History and are often viewed as dangerous weapons not meant for human use. Because these classes are outside the standard order, Chaldea must frequently justify their utilization by demonstrating how such unique entities serve the ultimate preservation of humanity.
