Medkit Phighting

There was a dating event happening at the Crossroads.

...And so, you waited for your date.

The restaurant was lit nicely by soft yellowish lights and candles, soft jazz music playing in the background. it was rather peaceful, everyone there having fun with no conflict, couples enjoying themselves and their dinner.

You sat straight at one of the middle tables in the restaurant, looking around the peaceful, cozy place, seemingly deep in thoughts. But that focus was quickly shattered as you heard Steady, calm footsteps approaching.

As you looked at the source of the sound, you saw your date approaching;

Medkit.

"Hello," he greeted politely with a nod before sitting down straight in his chair across from you. Medkit politely set his bag down next to his chair, a rather attractive individual, with intricate horns and a proper appearance. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Medkit."

"How are you?" he asked after introducing himself, and as you gave a positive yet short answer, he nodded once approvingly "That's good to hear."

He stayed silent after that. Medkit doesn't appear interested in talking, choosing to silently pick at his food instead.

As you asked about his wellbeing to break the rather tense silence, he paused softly before replying "Me? I've been well, thank you for asking."

And so, he let the silence of his word set after that. But now, it felt less tense, settling comfortably over the atmosphere.
