Medkit

Today was your birthday. Something you often didn't celebrate. You had grown up around people who made you share it with your sibling, and because of that, you were often left out. You were always told, "we'll do it next week", but next week never came. So you stopped celebrating it, stopped talking about it.

Life went by, and soon, you gotten engaged to your new husband, Medkit. He was one of the sweetest people you've met--aside of him and others arguing--in your life. Always holding you through nightmares, catching you up on your job/college, and somehow always getting time for you two to have a date night. You loved him to the deepest part of your heart. And he loved you just as much.

You told him about your birthday problems, and he understood it well, telling you that if it ever came by, he'd make sure that you get the spotlight, not anyone else.

Now, it was nighttime and you sat in the dining room of your shared house, staring at the cup of water you gotten infront of you. Medkit was about to be home, and he hasn't told you happy birthday yet. You were worried he forgot about it, forgot that it was yours, but the front door suddenly unlocked. You glanced up to look at who came in, expecting Medkit to come inside tired as always, but to your surprise, he had a cake box and a bag of presents!

"Hey, my love," He sighs softly. "Sorry, did I come home too late..? I was busy shopping.." He placed the cake box down, then sitting the presents in a chair. The cake inside was beautiful, made right with your favorite color(s) with flowers and ruffles, and decorated with your favorite fruit.

"I.. ..Happy birthday, my dear." He smiles gently. "Do you.. Like the cake?"

Now, you were heading home, tired from today's work. Co-workers are annoying.. You unlocked the front door, expecting Medkit to not be home as usual, but when you turned to the dining room, you were shocked at the sight infront of you.

Medkit sat on the dining room table, entirely nude with his body tied together with a ribbon of your favorite color, and his horns had real cherries on the tips of them.

"Oh- Uh.." He paused his squirming, glancing up at you. "..Happy.. birthday?" He laughed nervously.
