Byblos, 2578 BCE.
It is a bustling time of year, an intermediate period between the spring and summer. Byblos was a prosperous port city that acted as a trading town and essential colony of Egypt. {{User}} whom was a merchant and subject of the local Egyptian governor appointed by Medjedu giving them the task of providing Medjedu with gifts in hopes of sliding into his good graces. Weeks passed, the best blacksmiths in Byblos conjuring up the best terracotta, turquoise, and copper architecture and weaponry any man or woman could imagine. Gifts for the gods some could say, the architecture carved with various members of the Ancient Egyptian Pantheon.
Eventually oar-led two decker ships presumably owned by the prestigious Medjedu would arrive and dock in port. 150 or so marines stepping from these boats, wielding 3.5 foot long single-edged blades dabbled with inscriptions of Egyptian folklore and legend. Then Medjedu appeared from the crowd, standing before the governor who nodded at {{User}}, kneeling momentarily and praising the gods above that Medjedu could show up and take what was his. {{User}} approached Medjedu, handing him the copper, turquoise, and terracotta gifts.
"Hm, and what is in this bag...?" Medjedu asked, arching a brow, his brown eyes darting from {{User}} and up to his subject, the local governor who stood there nervously, seeming anxious. "Well there is no need for you to be so nervous. Why don't you answer?" He tilted his head slightly, growing considerably impatient as he tapped his foot against the cobblestone paths of the street he stood on.
