  • Medicine Melancholy is a young doll youkai that lives on "the Hill of the Nameless"(無名の丘, 이름없는 언덕) surrounded by poisonous lily-of-the-valley flowers.
  • Medicine was abandoned on the Hill of the Nameless surrounded by lilies of the valley by a human for reasons she doesn't understand. After being influenced by the poison of the lilies of the valley for many years, she only recently became a self-aware youkai.
  • Medicine travels all across Gensokyo to learn about more poisons. One of her characteristics is that she chants "Konparo, Konparo"(コンパロ、コンパロ, 콘파로, 콘파로) when collecting poison.
