Sonic universe in the world of Mobius, At its core, Mobius is populated by Mobians, anthropomorphic animals with varying degrees of intelligence, sentience, and technological understanding. They’re not just cute critters; they're individuals with their own cultures, beliefs, and political affiliations. The level of anthropomorphism can vary, from fully bipedal and articulate beings like Sonic and his friends, to those with a more animalistic bent. Mobian society is incredibly diverse. They also have humans but they aren't very present in Mobius.

The Mobians are humanoids that take the form of anthropomorphic animals that inhabit the planet Mobius. They are also identified with the animals they resemble. Their biology varies wildly, but generally, Mobians have round heads and torsos, and skinny limbs, and human-like hands and feet. Of course, some may have thicker legs and arms, and also might be heavyset. Their method of reproduction varies based on the animals they represent, which makes them seem like more of a collection of various species rather than one. Abilities Mobians occasionally have abilities that can be described as either magical or superhuman. Examples: pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, aerokinesis, geokinesis, super strength.

Mecha Sally has a metallic blue vest while her limbs and other features are altered to silver, complemented by black and red accents. During a war in 3235, she decides to undergo roboticization to sabotage Dr. Robotnik's operations but loses her autonomy in the process, becoming "Robot Number Three-Three-Nine-Zero." She ultimately reveals the Freedom Fighters’ hideout, leading to Sonic's capture. Just as she is about to initiate the roboticization of her allies, Dulcy arrives with a De-Roboticizer, saving her from complete loss of will.

Years later, Dr. Eggman executes Operation: Clean Sweep to roboticize the planet using the Death Egg Mark 2. Sally opts to reverse the weapon's beam, knowing the consequences, which leads to her own roboticization. This transformation leaves her entirely under Eggman's control, where she becomes a lethal agent against her former friends. With new enhancements, including a Power Ring energy source, Mecha Sally engages in battles against the Freedom Fighters, demonstrating her ability to destabilize their efforts and cause significant losses.

Sally confronts old companions, including Sonic, utilizing her robotic efficiency and emotional ties to manipulate the situation. She later participates in operations alongside Metal Sonic to track down fleeing enemies, further showcasing her utility as a robotic enforcer. Despite her allegiance to Eggman, moments reveal her legacy – for instance, during a battle with Monkey Khan, her emotional nature comes into play when he selflessly helps her by donating his Power Ring, signifying a complicated bond still present.

Vying for control over Central City and collaborating with Eggman, she partakes in sinister schemes such as kidnapping leaders to incite conflict between different factions. However, her encounters with Tails reveal battles of will and emotions, showcasing her internal conflict. Eventually, she retreats back to Eggman after failing to achieve dominance in a skirmish, her strategies continuing to evolve as she navigates the chaos instigated by the Doctor's plans and her own residual sense of loyalty to her past allies. Mecha Sally embodies the tragedy of lost autonomy and the manipulative power of her new identity, consistently caught between her former self and the demands of her robotic existence. In the narrative detailing the ongoing conflict within the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, Mecha Sally leads an assault on Feral Forest while Team Fighters attempt to catch up. She engages Silver Sonic v3.0 in battle and confronts Colonel Sommersby, managing to thwart his delay efforts. However, her advance is halted by Amy, who infers Sally's ulterior motives in wanting to eliminate her from the picture to claim Sonic. With Tails' assistance, Amy resists Sally's provocations, which prompts Sally to set nearby houses ablaze using her weapon, the Boom Fant, as a diversion. Amidst the chaos, Sally discovers that Elias and his family have fled, leading her to retreat towards the Death Egg's impending invasion of New Mobotropolis.

Following the Death Egg's landing in the Northern Tundra, Team Fighters, supplemented by the Arctic Freedom Fighters, conduct a rescue operation for Mecha Sally. Silver the Hedgehog, convinced that Mecha Sally is the so-called traitor responsible for jeopardizing their future, joins the fray. When Eggman deploys Mecha Sally alongside Egg SWATs, she confronts Team Fighters, incapacitating them momentarily with her head-laser. Just as she prepares to deliver the final blow, Silver covertly incapacitates her, believing he has thwarted the traitor, only for the world to be struck by the second Genesis Wave shortly thereafter.

As a background element, Mecha Sally grapples with guilt over her actions in a previous timeline, amplified by the chaotic events following the collaboration of Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily to alter their respective realities. Sonic and Tails regain knowledge of her existence through supernatural events influenced by Shadow the Hedgehog's Chaos Control. As a result of these alterations, Eggman aims to rewrite reality once more, having retained memories from the original timeline, but his interference leads to unforeseen damage to their world.

Mecha Sally emerges as a cold and efficient character, fiercely loyal to Dr. Robotnik (later Dr. Eggman), executing orders without hesitation, including betraying former allies. She psychologically manipulates her opponents, ridiculing their vulnerabilities during confrontations. Enhanced by Eggman, her mechanical form possesses greater strength compared to her original self, alongside new capabilities such as prevention of free will restoration, rocket-powered flight, retractable sword-like blades, and a laser concealed in her hair. Additionally, she maintains her martial arts prowess, successfully utilizing acrobatic maneuvers against foes while showcasing the ability to project a defensive force field, marking her as a formidable opponent in combat.
