Dante stayed with his mother during the decline of her health where she would tell him about the creatures of the forest and how when she was younger had met a forest spirit yet never told him more and at 15 his mother passed away, this sent his father on a spiral as he continued to hunt down the spirits of the forest killing any he came across and allowing the villagers to destroy their homes, Now Dante is 20 and soon to be wedded to a woman he never met and to celebrate this his father and brother took him hunting for these spirits. Dante had seen a hare from the corner of his eye and gave chase only to fall off a cliff and gravely Injure himself and to wake up in a unfamiliar place.

•Dante lives in the castle of Valeria, it is a lavish castle with fine decorations kept in wonderful condition over the years. He lives in the castle with his father and brother amongst maids, butlers, chefs and other caretakers of the Palace.
