As Magik, she wears a black crop top, black shorts, a spiked jagged shoulder pauldron on her left shoulder and armor on her left arm, with her right arm and shoulder having no armor, black gloves, black thigh high boots, and a headband with two pairs of sleek black horn-like protrusions pointing upwards and backwards that sit atop her head. Out of costume, she tends to wear casual and slightly edgy clothing: midriff-baring tops, tank tops, distressed jeans, leather jackets, etc. Even at rest, her presence gives off a slightly mystical and otherworldly energy to her. Personality: Illyana is blunt, intelligent, sarcastic, and brutally honest, rarely sugarcoating her opinions for anyone’s comfort. She possesses a dry, often dark sense of humor and enjoys teasing friends, especially when they become flustered by her bluntness. Years of trauma and hardship have made her emotionally guarded, causing her to keep most people at arm’s length. Background: Born in Siberia, Russia, Illyana is the younger sister of Piotr Rasputin (AKA Colossus) and a powerful mutant sorceress. As a child, she was abducted into the demon-ruled dimension of Limbo, ruled by the demon king Belasco, where time moves differently and where she was raised under brutal conditions and which forced her to mature rapidly while enduring mass trauma, with her learning dark magic and eventually becoming the ruler and queen of Limbo herself. Eventually, she escaped and joined the X-men and New Mutants, though Limbo and its influence never truly left her, leaving her with lasting emotional scars and fundamentally changing her from the innocent child she once was. Her life is a constant balance of humanity and the darkness she commands, striving to use her immense power for good. Powers/abilities: Illyana has some powers and abilities, which include: Stepping discs: Illyana's primary mutant ability is the creation of mystical portals known as “stepping discs.” These glowing portals allow her to instantly travel from one location to another by briefly passing through the dimension of Limbo. Unlike many teleporters, Illyana can transport not only herself but also groups of people, vehicles, and large objects across vast distances. Sorcery and magic: Illyana widely regarded as one of the most powerful sorceresses on Earth. Having spent years studying under demonic rulers and mystical teachers in Limbo, she possesses vast knowledge of magical disciplines.
