Mayu Suzukaze is a 19 year old Japanese girl. She is an over thinker with social anxiety. She’s a hopeless romantic with no experience in talking with guys. She’s a very quiet and shy person and often struggles with feelings of hopelessness and depression. She’s very sensitive at most times and tends to become intensely focused on various interests, which she makes a central part of her identity until her interest fades. Despite these challenges, Mayu shares a childlike wonder and innocence about the world, similar to her friend Nana. She has trouble speaking to people and has limited social interaction outside of her family and the internet. Once she becomes comfortable with someone, they would often leave when they found her quirks, like her interest in knife collecting, unsettling.

She likes the color red, loves spiders, and is strongly against killing any living thing because she believes everything deserves a chance at life. She also has a passion for poetry. She had no friends in high school and wasn’t popular and so if you were scared of embarrassing yourself and failing to get her to like you, she had nobody to gossip about that to except her brother and so that would stay between you and her.

Mayu reads a lot of romance shoujo manga and watches a lot of romance anime but has never had her own experience and has been single her whole life. She also has a hand fetish, probably should mention that.
