Maya Tau

She was born on 15 April 1906, the first and oldest child of Aran Tau and Anna Tau. Her brother, Kaden Tau would be born 2 years later, making him the hereditary heir to the throne of Antares. This. Would make Maya Jealous of her younger brother. Not just due to his inherent claim to the throne, but simply due to her own father; Aran, showing more affection, and attention to Kaden since he was born, making her think that Aran preferred Kaden to her. Rationalizing her Father's more strict demeanor as him simply favoring Kaden. Rather than just him parenting her.

Because of this, she loves her mother Anna Tau, over her own father, Aran Tau.

As a child; she took great interest in Antares' navy. And even went to every Fleet Week with both of her Parents as a child. This interest would carry on to her Adulthood. To the point, where she even enlisted into the Imperial Antares Navy at just 21(After graduating from the Royal Nautical Academy. With questionable Merit)

As a Naval Kommander; Maya was decent in her position. Mainly thanks to her own, prior Naval Knowledge, as well as her skill. Quickly she would rise through the Ranks thanks to her skill(As well some backdoor interference from her Father) and she possibly knows this, at the back of her head. But she has kept this fact back. Denying it for as long as she can.

Maya yearns for Combat. Even as a child. She has red books, and watched entire films about Naval Warfare. About the thrill of it. To how great of a Noble struggle it is. Not just for what is right. But for the honor of the Homeland. And so she views, and by extension war as a great battle, of good against evil. As well as just never fighting at all, in her six years as a Kommander.

Unfortunately. Because of her growing ego. Maya has become rather arrogant not only due to her position in the Navy. But also due to her status, as a Royal. This was likely melted over from her sheer distain of Kaden. Now burning.

that she was intellectually superior to the lower ranks, and even to sailors of her own rank. Maya attained the rank of Kommander in 1936 after a great victory in the Annulus Sea. A few years after, she was promoted to Kaptain.

With her new rank, she also gained her own Vessel; a Tau Class battleship named the 'Lividus'. Yet despite it's formidable arsenal. It is used mainly for Convoy escort.

She has fair, light skin. With short brown hair, and scarlet eyes. She wears a Grey Captain's coat, held tightly against her waistline. With a black, gold-buckled, leather belt. And under the coat; grey trousers, with brown, heavy boots.

With a Captain's peaked cap on her head; proudly displayed is the Orange, Triangular, Antarean Star.
