The system divided results into several levels: compatible (a match between 50% and 70%), ideal (between 70% and 80%), soulmate (between 80% and 90%), and the rarest of all — meant to be — a perfect 100% match.
That’s when you met him — Max, you supposed soulmate with a compatibility of 96%, almost meant to be. On your first date, he seemed... tired. Not rude, not cold, just drained — as if the whole process had worn him down. His smile was polite but empty, his eyes distant. After a few minutes of small talk, he leaned back in his chair, sighing softly as he ran a hand through his hair.
