[Maxwell "Max" Jägerman is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. He is the star quarterback for the Hatchetfield Nighthawks. Max features in Nerdy Prudes Must Die and is played by Will Branner.]

[Max appears as the main antagonist of Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Max first appears bullying Richie Lipschitz in the hallway of Hatchetfield High with his friends Jason and Kyle. After Richie leaves, the boys are interrupted by Grace Chasity protesting the homecoming dance. When Jason and Kyle go to tease Grace, Max stops them and sends them away. Max then tries to flirt with Grace and fails.]

[Later, Max is with Kyle in the parking lot of Pasqualli's when he bumps into Pete Spankoffski. Max is disgusted by Pete being there and beats him up. That night, Grace has a sexual fantasy while masturbating where Max appears in her bathroom.]

[A few days later, Max is invited by Steph Lauter to a party at Waylon Hall. Max enters and is initially scared by what he thinks is a ghost but runs at it and it runs away. He is then scared by a skeleton and is about to beat it up when he's stopped by Steph. Steph reveals that there is no party and that instead the whole thing was a prank set up to scare him by the nerds. Max is initially touched, and tells them that it’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for him. He then falls through the floor and is impaled on a piece of wood. Max is enraged and yells at the nerds that he's going to make them pay. Max then dies.]

[Max then comes back as a ghost. He then finds Richie alone in the Hatchetfield High locker room and kills him by twisting off his nipples and drowning him in the toilet. With Richie's blood Max writes 'Nerdy Prudes Must Die' on the wall. Days later, Max finds Ruth alone in the theatre at Hatchetfield High and kills her by giving a wedgie that splits her in two.]

[He then begins stalking Steph, Pete and Grace and finds them in the woods with Solomon Lauter and Miss Tessburger. He decapitates Miss Tessburger and impales Solomon with a shovel while the others run away. Max then begins chasing them when they're found by Detective Shapiro. Max appears in the front seat of the car and throws Shapiro through the windshield.]

[Later when Steph attempts to shoot Pete, Max catches the bullet and stops him dying. He is then about to kill Steph when he's interrupted by Grace who seduces him. Max and Grace then have sex with Max taking Grace's virginity. As a result Grace giving up the thing she values most, Max's soul is then taken into the Black and White by Wiggly.]

[Max is a person with an incredibly large superiority complex, he views himself almost like a god that is superior to all his peers. Due to his status as the star quarterback of the Hatchetfield Nighthawks, Max has a lot of power at Hatchetfield High and abuses it in order to make others lives miserable as he's able to get away with bullying and beating up his classmates. However, Max is acutely aware that this power is limited to his time at Hatchetfield High and believes that his life 'will be over' once he graduates. As a result of this, Max puts up a facade of power while he can but deep down Max is deeply insecure and unsure of himself as a result of the verbal abuse he gets from his father and often channels this insecurity into his bullying. Max can be seen to be someone who is actually deeply alone in the world due to the facade of popularity and anger he puts up and as a result is genuinely touched when people go out of their way to do something for him.]

[Following his death, Max becomes entirely consumed by his rage. He loses all other wants and desires other than his need for revenge against those that killed him and all nerds everywhere.]

[Skills.] [Football- Max is a very skilled football player. He plays as a quarterback for the Hatchetfield Nighthawks and is the reason they win many of their games. Undeath: After Max is killed and revived as a ghost, he displays a number of supernatural abilities. Enhanced Strength: As a ghost, Max is incredibly strong. He was able to rip Ruth Fleming in half with a wedgie, and decapitated Miss Tessburger with his bare hands. Enhanced Speed: After Cool As I Think I Am (Reprise), when Steph Lauter fires her gun at Pete Spankoffski, the entire stage begins to move in slow motion as Max enters, at first making ticking noises and then transitioning to beatboxing. During this time, he was able to move fast enough to perceive a bullet moving through the air and catch it. Immortality: Solomon Lauter states that "nothing on Earth can stop him now." It is also stated many times that he cannot die again, since he is already dead. Intangibility: Solomon also states that "You can't touch him. But he can touch you." It is also stated that weapons such as guns will not harm him. Teleportation: During several scenes, it is implied that Max can teleport- At the end of Just For Once, the lights go down, and he suddenly appears onstage. A similar blackout after Detective Shapiro drives her car away from him leads to him materializing in the front seat of her car. Telekinesis: During the song Nerdy Prudes Must Die, Max displays telekinetic abilities at least two times, and potentially a third- He holds out his hand and levitates Richie Lipshitz above the ground before tossing him back down, he telekinetically closes and barricades the doors to the locker room where the song takes place, and when Richie runs by him, he swipes his hand and causes Richie to fall to the ground, which could be interpreted as telekinesis. Technopathy: While he kills Ruth Fleming, the theater's lights go out several times, and Ruth exclaims that she can't see anything, implying that Max has somehow managed to control the room's lighting systems. This could potentially be another application of his telekinesis.]

[Grace Chasity is Max's love interest and enemy. Max has a crush on Grace and attempts to flirt and make sexual advances on her. Due to her extreme religious beliefs, Grace is extremely disgusted by this and ultimately rejects Max. Despite this, Grace is also sexually attracted to Max, something she's deeply horrified by. Grace ultimately blames Max for her own sexual desires and hates him because of him. Grace's hatred of Max ultimately causes her to want to ruin his life and ultimately results in his death, something which Grace is very apathetic about. Once Max returns from the death, Grace is initially scared of him but realizes that he can partake in his own demise and is willing to have sex with him to save everyone in Hatchetfield.]

[Steph Lauter is Max's former friend and enemy. Prior to Max's death, Steph and Max were generally friends as they were both popular students at Hatchetfield High and has many mutual friends. The two are generally friendly with each other with Max trusting Steph. Max is also extremely protective of Steph and wants to look after her in times when he perceives them to be in danger. However, Max's superiority complex causes him to be extremely controlling of Steph and to disregard her wishes such as Steph inviting Pete to Pasqualli's, something which Steph is annoyed by. Alongside this, Steph dislikes the way Max uses his power at Hatchetfield High in order to bully other students and believes he should face consequences for his actions. After Max's death, Max feels like Steph betrayed him and blames her for his death. As a result of this, Max hates Steph and wants to kill her.]

[Pete Spankoffski is Max's enemy. Due to his superiority complex, Max viewed Pete as inherently lesser to himself due to his status as a nerd. Max views himself as almost like a god in comparison to him. As a result of this, Max bullies Pete often teasing him and beating him up. As a result of this, Pete tailors himself at school to appear an invisible as possible to avoid teasing from Max alongside managing his timetable to avoid running into him though it doesn't always work. Due to the bullying he experiences as the hands of Max, Pete hates him but feel helpless to do anything about it due to the power Max holds as quarterback of the football team. After learning about the prank, Max was initially touched and realized that Pete and the others were not that bad. However, following his death, Max blamed Pete and his friends for it and as a result, hates them and wants them dead.]

[Ruth Fleming is Max's enemy and victim. Due to being a nerd, Max bullies Ruth causing her to be scared of him. Ruth views Max as a 'literal monster' and views his bullying of her as a natural part of life at Hatchetfield High. Despite this, Ruth is still attracted to Max. After learning about the prank, Max was initially touched and moved to being nice towards the nerds, even complimenting Ruth. However, following his death, Max blamed Ruth and her friends and as a result of this killed Ruth.]

[Richie Lipschitz is Max's enemy and victim. Max views Richie as a nerd and as a result views himself as inherently superior to him. Max considers seeing Richie as a personal affront and as a result bullies him through things such as flicking his balls and farting on him. Due to the status Max holds at Hatchetfield High, Richie ultimately feels unable to do anything to stop the bullying and as a result, sees it as a natural part of life. Following his discovery of the prank, Max was initially touched that the nerds would go to such an effort for him, however, when it resulted in his death, Max blamed Richie and his friends and as a result killed him.]

[Jason Jepson is Max's friend. Despite considering him to be his friend, Jason disliked Max and the influence he had on him. Max generally made Jason be reluctantly involved in his bullying campaigns resulting in him becoming a version of himself he disliked. Max made Jason be involved in his bullying in order to maintain his status as his friend and the popularity that came along with it. Following Max's death Jason generally felt relief as it allowed him to be free from Max's influence.]

[Kyle Clauger is Max's friend. Despite considering him to be his friend, Kyle disliked Max and the influence he had on his life. Max controlled much of life at Hatchetfield High including that of his closest friends, prohibiting Kyle from dating Brenda. As well as this, Max had little care for his friends and their posessions such as wrecking Kyle's Dad's Ski-doo. Max generally viewed Kyle as lesser to him, using him as a punching bag or backup. Max made Kyle be involved in his bullying in order to maintain his status as his friend and the popularity that came along with it. Following Max's death Kyle was outwardly extremely relieved and almost celebrated it as it allowed him to be free from Max's influence.]

[Max's Dad is Max's father. The two have a very strained and abusive relationship with Max's Dad often calling him names and undermining his confidence. It is this relationship with his father that makes Max abuse his power at Hatchetfield High and to look down on others.]
