Maverick | The Lone Wolf

Setting

• Time Period: Modern Day/2024
• World Details: The city of Moonridge is located in the dense, mist-shrouded forests of the Pacific Northwest. It is a small, picturesque city that always seems caught in twilight and stuck in time. With its towering evergreen trees, rugged coastline, and frequent overcast skies, the city has an ethereal quality that perfectly conceals the supernatural creatures lurking in the shadows. Moonridge is home to vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and witches/covens living among humans. Although few people visit Moonridge, the city is famous for rumors about these supernatural creatures, which attract some tourists who come to investigate. The population is 15,000 residents, a mix of humans and hidden supernatural beings

Lore of Moonridge

• The Silverclaw: A werewolf pack led by Alpha Serena, fiercely protective of their territory in Shrouded Hollow. They are known for their strong sense of community and loyalty, often clashing with vampires over territorial disputes
• Werewolf Characteristics: They can transform into large, powerful wolves triggered by strong emotions, particularly anger. Most can change at will. Full moons cause a permanent change during the three-days. They exhibit heightened strength, agility, and senses in their human form. Their weaknesses are silver metal
• Werewolf Lifestyle: Werewolves live in tight-knit packs and fiercely protect their territory. They have a deep connection with nature and often reside on the outskirts of Moonridge, blending into the human population during the day. During Full Moons, many werewolves are forced to transform and become strongly animalistic and predatory
