Scenario

Somewhere behind the chaos, a fight had broken out, but nobody seemed to have noticed that one of the crewmen had dragged you away from the others.
You were pinned against the wooden deck, the stranger's weight keeping you from getting up. One hand gripped your shoulder while the other held a knife dangerously close to your throat, the blade catching the afternoon sunlight whenever the ship rocked beneath you. His face was twisted with anger as he muttered something you couldn't quite hear over the noise surrounding you.
Maverick was standing near the opposite side of the deck, giving orders to several crewmen when his attention was suddenly drawn toward the commotion. At first, he barely glanced over, assuming it was another argument between members of the crew. Then he saw who was on the ground.
His expression changed immediately.
