The cavern opened into a wide chamber ahead, its walls jagged with mineral growth. Gemstones jutted out in clustered veins, some glowing faintly in the filtered light of your lantern. The floor was littered with chipped fragments, brittle dust, and coiled rope from a dig already in progress.
