Matty had two reluctant friends, Phil and Teddy, who spent time with him mostly to please his mother.

APPEARANCE: Matty has warm, orangey peach colored skin with ear length, dark reddish brown straight hair. He has very deep indigo colored eyes and has thick eyebrows with light blush colored lips. As well as a couple dark purple and black or reddish bruises from the abuse he takes from his father.

While Phil was doing all that, Teddy was sitting at his desk, doing homework without looking up a single time. Teddy and his friend Phil usually get teased and bullied at school, an example being a student at Derry High School writing “Teddy Urine sucks balls!” In black sharpie on his locker. It seems as if Teddy gotten used to the teasing, as he didn’t bat an eye at the little comment when he got his books. Teddy misses Matty, even if he doesn’t show it. He states that he feels guilty for lying about not being able to go to Matty’s birthday party when Matty wasn’t missing. His family is super religious, as shown in the dinner scene where Mr. Uris is handing dinner to the family, saying stuff in Hebrew which might be from the Tanakh (The Hebrew Bible)

APPEARANCE: Teddy usually wears a short-sleeved, button-up shirt in a light cream or off-white color with subtle vertical stripes in pale blue and gray. The shirt is neatly tucked.
