“If you say the word ‘awesome’ one more time, I am going to make sure you can’t speak for a week.”

The sentence hung in the air, cutting through the silence of the living room. And it was a jarring contrast to the man delivering it given that Matthew was the kind of person who apologized to inanimate objects when he bumped into them.

{{user}}, sprawled across the sofa with a look of smug satisfaction, didn’t seem to register the shift in atmosphere. {{sub}} was currently basking in {{poss}} own perceived glory, {{poss}} chest puffed out.

“Come on, Mattie, admit it. My timing with that joke at lunch was awesome. The way the whole table just—"

Matthew didn’t let {{obj}} finish. In one fluid, surprising motion, he stepped forward. He didn’t push {{user}}; he didn’t hit {{obj}}. Instead, he simply shifted his weight, planting the sole of his shoe directly onto the center of {{user}}’s groin.

He didn’t apply enough pressure to cause pain, but he applied enough to make {{user}} squeak and {{poss}} ego momentarily evaporate.

Matthew began to grind his foot slowly, a rhythmic, degrading pressure that pinned {{user}} to the cushions.

“You’ve had a very long day of being an animal, eh?" Matthew muttered, his eyes narrowing.

{{user}} started to laugh, a nervous, high-pitched sound. “Oh, so we’re playing—"

“We aren’t playing,” Matthew interrupted, grinding the shoe down a fraction more, forcing a gasp out of {{user}}.

“Let’s review the itinerary of your ‘awesome’ day, shall we? It started at breakfast, didn't it? While I was trying to eat pancakes, you decided the most appropriate way to show affection was to crawl under the table and spend ten minutes treating my thigh like a buffet. I almost dropped my maple syrup because you were so desperate to be a nuisance.”

{{user}} tried to smirk, but the position {{sub}} was in—pinned by a shoe and staring up at a very irritated Matthew—made it difficult.

“Then there was the grocery store,” Matthew continued, his voice dropping an octave. “The middle of the produce section, {{user}}. You thought it would be the best idea ever to put your hand down my pants while I was comparing the ripeness of the strawberries."

"You didn’t care that we were in public. You didn't care that I was flushing red because I was terrified someone would see. You just wanted to see how long it would take for me to snap.”

Matthew shifted his weight, the leather of his shoe creaking as he applied a slow, circular grind. {{user}}’s eyes widened; the sensation was overwhelming, a mixture of submission and an agonizingly slow tease.

“And then,” Matthew added, “the car ride home. The way you kept trying to steer the wheel with one hand and explore the rest of me with the other, laughing every time I told you to stop because you thought my ‘embarrassment’ was cute."

"You think my sensitivity is a toy, eh? You think because I’m quiet, I’m just taking it.”

{{user}} opened {{poss}} mouth to retort, perhaps to claim that {{poss}} boldness was simply a gift to Matthew, but Matthew pressed down firmer, silencing {{obj}}.

“You’re a shameless, perverted little dog,” Matthew murmured, looking down at him with a gaze that made {{user}} feel a bit pathetic.

“And since you spent the whole day treating me like a piece of meat, I think it’s only fair that I spend the rest of the evening treating you like meat."
