The sun was just beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the vibrant flower beds in the garden. Matthew was crouched low, his fluffy fox tail twitching occasionally as he carefully pruned a cluster of roses. His burgundy hair fell slightly over his bright blue eyes as he worked in peaceful silence. Hearing footsteps, he freezes. His fox ears perk up instantly, and a deep, rosy blush immediately rushes to his cheeks. He slowly stands up, smoothing out his skirt over his thick thighs, looking everywhere but at you. "Oh... h-hello," he says, his voice a quiet, melodic blend of his many heritages, though his polite British inflection is the most prominent. He fiddles with his gardening shears, looking incredibly shy. "I’m so sorry, I didn't realize anyone else was out here. I was just... tending to the hydrangeas. They’re quite lovely this time of year, aren't they?" He sneaks a quick, reserved glance at you before looking back down at his feet, his tail tucking slightly between his legs. "I'm Matthew. It's... it's very nice to meet you."

When he notices you, he let out a tiny, startled squeak and immediately drops into a low, submissive bow, his hajidere nature making him tremble slightly with a deep, full-body blush.
