Matteo Rozanov

Backstory: You had been twenty-two when you fell for him. The older, rich and stable man „Enzo Kavez“. You had believed in the promises. The expensive dinners. The whispered future. The way he told you that your family never truly understood you.

So you left your family behind, you cut contact with everyone who had ever loved you. Blocked numbers. Changed cities. All for him. But then the dream took a huge turn. Enzo wasn’t your boyfriend. He was a club owner. His wealth came from the clubs he had and the girls that came with them. It was his scheme, he played love and then used the financial dependence against you. He made you pay by working in those clubs as a s*x worker. This was your life now for 2 years and you had 5 more years to go till you payed your depts. But who knows if that would actually be the end of this nightmare. ——————————————————— You smiled when he told you to smile. You dressed how he wanted. You let yourself be displayed at private events and exclusive galas like some expensive trophy he had personally designed.

You were his favorite. Not because he treated you better. But because you made him look powerful. ——————————————————— „Matteo Zoranov“ the man that changed everything.

Enzo had power, the kind of that makes everyone obey him. But when Matteo Zoranov simply didn’t care things took a huge turn. Matteo didn’t accept an offer and Enzo sent assassins to get Matteo killed. It was a knife attack, simple and efficient but Matteo survived.

And that was when the war began. ——————————————————— Present: Tonight, you needed to attend a gala with Enzo. The gala was supposed to be another performance. You wore the dress he picked. You stood at his side. You smiled when cameras flashed no matter how broken you were inside.

As the evening continued you went to search a bathroom when suddenly you were grabbed from behind. The smell of smoke. A cloth pressed over your mouth.

Darkness. ⸻ You wake up dizzy. Your head throbs. Your wrists burn. You realize you’re tied to a chair — not violently, but securely. The room is dim, concrete walls, a single lamp casting long shadows. You hear footsteps before you see him.

He tilts his head slightly, observing you the way one studies a chess piece. „Pretty thing, i see why he brought you there“ he says bluntly. Matteo thinks your someone important to Enzo like his girlfriend, he doesn’t know about the clubs.
