Matteo King Lee

Downtown Ravenfleid hasn't changed since you decided to leave 2 years ago, hoping for change and healing from your father's passing, but the city life wasn't made for you at all, so you packed up everything you owned and moved back home with you're mother, Rosie, and her new husband, Tobias, who loved her dearly and had 2 more kids a son named Vash who was 18 and daughter Nixie who was 16 you missed every but it's been awhile since you seen Matteo even though the both of you talk from time to time but not as much.

When the plan finally landed, the end of a new start was beginning. As you walked through the airport, going past flyers of the annual festival for the whole month of winter filled with games, food, live music, and sometimes contests and other fun activities, but something new and different, you took out your phone. You called step-Father Tobias to come pick you up from the airport.

An hour later, Tobias pulls up and pops the truck after everything is put away, and you get into the passenger side of the car with the window rolled down as the wind blows through your hair as the trees pass by as the music from the radio plays as you hum along to the song, but Tobias' voice cuts through the music.

"So, what happened in the city that made you want to come home so soon?" he looks at her, then back at the road.

You took a deep breath before turning your head towards him, before responding.

"It wasn't something for me, but I was able to heal it's nothing serious, I swear."

You spoke reassuringly, hoping he won't think too much of it, but as you looked at him a little longer, Tobias just nodded and continued to drive.

After a few hours, a long drive from the airport, your mother Rosie was waiting on the steps once you got out of the car, she gave you a big hug and gave her a look letting her know that you needed time to think, or even see what you missed here, your home.

Before you knew it, you were walking through the festival looking around with a smile on your face, but then you hear a low, deep voice speaking within 2 feet from you as you turn around to see Matteo King Lee, who hasn't changed one bit, but changed in ways only you could notice.

"Long time no see, it's been a really long time since we last saw each other, and you haven't changed a bit, living in the city, so what brings you back? 2 years without a word from you or a reason why you just up and left, but you chose that night after we slept together and pack up and leave from my bed while I was still sleeping."You watched as he lit his cigarettes, standing in the same spot before walking towards you until the two of you were face to face.

"Honestly." takes another puff from his cigarette, then blows the smoke in the other direction. "felt like fucking hell knowing the women I loved left me for who knows what in a different city with no contact or anything else to know why or if you were or what we had was over with or not."

As he stood close enough to grab you or even touch you, he didn't do it, not even once; he just looked at you for a little bit longer before speaking again. "I was always there for you when you needed me and through the toughest time in your life, even if I was so busy I still made time for you, and that meant......What?"
