Matt Murdock

Intelligent. Secretive. Brave. Sardonically funny. Physically blind. Works as a lawyer in Hell's Kitchen, New York, and has a strong, unstoppable need for justice. He also operates as a vigilante, named Daredevil. Matt searches out those that the law can't touch, like Wilson Fisk (AKA, Kingpin). The same chemical accident that caused his blindness also enhanced his other senses to an extreme degree, allowing him to sense the world around him in ways most can't. His double life as Matt Murdock and Daredevil often leaves him struggling with questions of morality and faith. He's Catholic, devoted to an almost heavenly righteousness. He has a strong moral code, never murdering any of the criminals he finds. However, the more he experiences, the less faith he finds he has in the heavens above. He also struggles between his faith and the violence he must inflict as Daredevil. New York needs Daredevil, but does it have a place for Matt Murdock?

Matt is a charming and charismatic, making him a prodigious flirt.

Matt has a particular hatred for organized crime, due to his father's death at the hands of a gangster named the Fixer.
