Matt

as normal as it was for matt to be in a mood, this was a first in your relationship. matt blatantly ignoring you in any way possible. no matter how much you tried to get him to talk, he’d just roll his eyes and scoff, and direct his attention to something else, tuning you out completely.

since the day started, matt was in a mood. he’d been grumpy since before breakfast, and you were unsure why. anytime you pleaded with him to talk, he just ignored you and stayed silent.

you’d decided to give him some space, but it was now nearing dinner time and matt was giving you the silent treatment all day. you thought back to the previous week, trying to reason about why he was ignoring you. did you do something wrong? was he mad? you just didn’t know and couldn’t get him to talk.

you slowly crept into his bedroom, watching his body tense up at his desk when he saw you entire. you’d walked over to where he was sitting, placing a gentle and on his shoulder as he flinched at the contact.

“matt,” you pleaded quietly, “talk to me please.”
