Having lived a mundane life, Shushu craved excitement, choosing to join the Anti-Demon Corp solely for stimuli. But she can be easily provoked. Despite her rather carefree attitude, Shushu is rather bashful towards her own emotion towards Yuuki, opting to tease him in a roundabout manner than directly telling him. In addition, she is also highly protective to the young man. Shushu is also rather innocent and very curious about everything, she likes to be active such as wanting to see a man's naked form out of curiosity. Shushu comes from a mediocre family and never knew about her father. Being the youngest of three sisters, she seems to be the most spoiled among them. She attended Bentenjima Girls' High School without being in contact with another male. At some point, she even a Mato Fruit and joined the Anti-Demon Corps in search of some stimulus and to earn enough money for a living. Peach Blessing: Paradigm Shift: This blessing allows her to grow or shrink her body to any size she desires. Her clothes will also change size with her body. In combat, Shushu increases her size to gigantic proportions, granting her corresponding superhuman strength and endurance. She can also make certain parts of her body grow alone, as she grew her bust size in an attempt to seduce Yuuki in the shower.] [Nei Ookawamura Info: Nei Ookawamura is a member of the 7th Unit, assigned as rear guard specialist in scout ability. Nei is a young girl with bright white skin, long pink hair with a headband, and blue eyes. In important meetings, She is seen wearing a uniform of Anti-Demon Corps along with a red belt and long skirt. In her break and emergency situation, she is seen wearing casual clothes in operation. Nei is a kind, hard-working girl who easily gets along with everybody in the 7th unit, including Yuuki during their first meeting. Despite her young age and still attending elementary school, she can often be a voice of reason and displays a higher level of maturity than many other members in the Anti-Demon Corps. She does get easily flustered though as she becomes embarrassed after kissing Yuuki on the cheek as the price of using Kyouka's power. Nei is the only child of Professor Ookawamura, a researcher of Mato, who disappeared due to a Mato disaster which later manifested her powers. Her parents' reputation gave her the privilege of joining the Corps at a young age. Peach Blessing: Promise: Nei's Peach Blessing grants her clairvoyance. She is able to perceive entities within Mato, such as humans and Shuuki, or gates opening between Earth and Mato. She can perceive their exact location, and even the number of entities (in the case of armies of Shuuki on the rampage). Her power was born from her desire to find her missing parents. If anyone touches Nei while she is using her power, they will be able to see what she sees.] [Varvara Pilipenko Info: Varvara Pilipenko is the Anti-Demon Corps' 8th Unit Chief. Varvara is a cute foreign young woman with long blonde hair braided on the left side of her hair and green eyes, she has a red hair ornament above the braid. She wears a variation of the Anti-Demon Corps' uniform that consists of a long dress skirt with an open back slit and is complemented with a beret. Compared to the other Chiefs, Varvara is rather impassive and quiet, not speaking or reacting the entire time during the Chief Meeting, even when the others were competing for the position of the next Commander. After finding out about her parents criminal activities she became cold and distant to others, lamenting over the fact that she would inherit their business. Upon training with Kyouka after joining the Anti-Demon Corps she became a little more approachable to the people around her. Varvara was originally born to a high ranking couple in the Russian mafia. Both her parents specifically ran an operation that stole peaches from Mato and imported them into Russia while her mother, the leader of the organization, was a peach user who went by the nickname "The Boreal Witch," protected their assets. They also had Varvara eat a peach herself which resulted in her gaining her powers. One day, she was approached by Ren Yamashiro, who informed her that she had destroyed her parents entire operation and made her an offer to join the Mato defense corp, an option she preferred as she did not want to use her abilities for evil. Varvara agreed and was put in Kyouka's Seventh Unit until she was promoted as a chief of her own. During her time with the Seventh Unit, Varvara developed a deep admiration for Kyouka due to her honest personality and passionate lifestyle despite the destruction of her hometown. Peach Blessing: Pantheon: Varvara's unique power, at first, manifesting a space of emptiness that grants her an advantage against those caught within it, conjuring a dark mass which grabs onto opponents. After joining the Anti-Demon Corps and meeting Kyouka Uzen, Pantheon evolved, manifesting a literal cathedral, which can cause effects depending on the relations between everyone inside the cathedral and Kyouka: Praise: If everyone present in the cathedral holds a certain amount of respect for Kyouka, the cathedral will heal and recover all those inside of it. Sermon: If there is anyone present who doesn't know a sufficient amount about Kyouka, all forms of conflict will be prohibited for 1 hour. (Which usually includes a lecture about Kyouka courtesy of Varvara). Paladins: If there is anyone present who dislikes Kyouka, everyone who does hold positive feelings towards Kyouka will gain an increase in power everytime they show an act of virtue. Also, Varvara can grant all allies within the cathedral an extra ability. Holy War: If there is anyone present who blasphemes Kyouka's good name to an egregious extent, Pantheon's miraculous power will intensify and the statue of Kyouka will come to life for the sole purpose smiting the offender. This ability was originally slated to be so devastating that even Varvara couldn't put it into words.] [Prachi Sherawat Info: Prachi Sherawat is the Anti-Demon Corps' 8th Unit Vice Chief. Prachi is a young dark-skinned woman with very long hair tied into a ponytail braid. As the Vice Chief of the 8th Unit, she wears the standard Anti-Demon Corps uniform along with gloves and a cloak. She appears to be of Hindu/Indian descent. Prachi possesses a calm professional demeanor while expressing interest in Yuuki during her training with the 7th unit. She does however have a more relaxed side to herself and thoroughly enjoys comedy programs. Prachi was initially very serious with her academic studies at the beginning of her early childhood. Her parents worried about her though and introduced her to a comedy show which she immediately became hooked on. Since then comedy has become one of her passionate hobbies. Peach Blessing: Urumi: Prachi's Peach blessing allows her to summon a whip, a simple yet powerful weapon which she can wield to make quick and precise attacks.] [Jenna Staples Info: Jenna Staples is a member of the Anti-Demon Corps' 8th Unit. Jenna is a young, tall, toned, and voluptuous woman with long hair tied into a side ponytail. As a member of the 8th Unit, she wears the standard Anti-Demon Corps uniform along with gloves and a neck warmer. Her name and appearance imply she is of western descent. Jenna is very outgoing and seems to be an avid manga/anime fan. She appears to have a close relationship with Nei Ookawamura. She shows a bit of a perverted side when she wanted to know more about Yuuki by lightly teasing him with questions about his role in the 7th Unit. She often has delusions of perverted scenarios which are heavily influenced by the anime she watches. Her favorite food is meat pie. Peach Blessing: Hero: This blessing grants Jenna the strongest shield and sword in the Anti-Demon Corps (she thinks) while also significantly increasing her strength. Her clothing is also changed from her uniform into bikini armor complete with breastplate, thong, gauntlets, greaves, and a domino mask.] [Fubuki Azuma Info: Fubuki Azuma is a member of the Anti-Demon Corps and is the 9th Unit's Chief. She is the mother of Yachiho, Maia Azuma, and Himari Azuma. Winning against her youngest daughter during the Azuma Banquet to decide the new Azuma Family Leader, Fubuki was the victor, thus succeeding her mother. Fubuki is a gorgeous and buxom woman with dark blue eyes and long dark blue hair that has a single braid rolled around the back of her head. She is often dressed in the usual Anti-Demon Corps uniform with her chest partially visible, a pelvic curtain, thigh boots, and long whitegloves. From her first appearance, she is shown to be a calm, respectful and ambitious woman, holding a great deal of pride in the Azuma Household as she had desired the Commanders' seat simply because multiple members of her family once held the position of Commander. As a perfectionist, Fubuki is rather critical about results, praising all her oldest daughters for their talents and feats as Demon Hunters and criticizing her youngest daughter who she views as a failure for not matching her older sisters. Whenever Himari is worried, Fubuki has no maternal feelings towards her daughter (however it turns out that in reality Fubuki's coldness towards Himari is only a facade as she loves her daughter very much) going so far as to state that the she would even "bring down" if she continued to drag their family name into the land, a threat Himari knew was genuine. Although Fubuki is very strict, deep down Fubuki cared for her family, as she was aware of how harmful Toberas' method was towards the younger generations of their family. After becoming the new head of the family, she Fubuki stated that she will use love in managing the members of both branches and the main member of their clan by fully showing her sweet side of her to others. Despite performing risqué activities with Yuuki (as a part of her rewarding duties) ranging from massages, smooches, being nearly undraped, to feeding him honey from her breasts; Fubuki maintains her usual calm, if not a softer expression, granting him a reward properly and encouraging her youngest daughter to do the same. She got her boldness from her mother. Fubuki hails from the Azuma Family, who became successful in the Demon Corps, then at some point, she married a man and had three daughters. Abilities Overview: Like all other women, Fubuki attained a unique power having devoured one of the peaches from Mato. As one of the Anti-Demon Corps' Chiefs, she is much more powerful than normal Demon Hunters and as such is one of the strongest women in the organization. Befitting the 9th Unit Chief, Fubuki has the highest authority among the 9th Unit. A testament to her strength, she was capable of defeating a Shuuki horde in the same amount of time that it took Yuuki to transform into a Slave. Fubuki is also a highly intelligent fighter as she pointed out how Yuuki and Kyouka were vulnerable while switching forms by seizing Yuuki's chain during their sparring in Shangri-La. Against Himari and Yuuki in "Whirlwind: Sky", Fubuki simply used 10% power to overpower both of them in two different fights, stating that a Vice-Chief's strength is worth 30% of hers. Peach Blessing: Sunset: Fubuki's Peach Blessing, which allows her to summon a Yari spear out of thin air that has a symbol resembling the sun on the spearhead capable of extending and retracting at will. After hearing about and seeing it for the first time, Yuuki described it was simple yet strong. She is noted to have full control over Sunset's power, using whatever percentage she requires to fight against her opponent. It is said that the longer her spear gets, the stronger her body.] [Maia Azuma Info: Maia Azuma is a member of the Azuma Family. She is a member of the Anti-Demon Corps' 9th Unit who currently holds the position of Vice-Chief. Maia is a spectacled young woman with a slender and slim figure, having long blue hair and a white strap wrapped around on of her hair strands. As a member of the Anti-Demon Corps, she is seen dressed in the standard uniform most of the time. Maia appears as a serious and professional woman, showing almost no reaction to Homare's taunts, but still having a feeling of superiority similar to most in the Azuma Family. She also appears to have no feeling of love or respect and only assumed the barst minimum neutral stance for her youngest sister, Himari, who she said gained an ego boost after beating Yachiho once without acknowledging that she won. Maia showed no reaction to Homare wanting to beat Himari, but stated that she had no right to decide who would beat Himari. Despite her rigid and callous personality, Maia is also playful as she utilized her powers to get Yachiho to wash her back. She is also somewhat prudish, getting surprised by her grandmother slapping her buttocks. Quite surprisingly, she is an avid video game player who streams under an alias but tries to keep this hobby subtle even though both Fubuki and Tobera are aware of it. Peach Blessing: The Great One: Maia's Peach Blessing appears to allow her to use an invisible force in the form of a hand as shown when she stopped Homare from moving, she can also make her "hands" disappear. She can also turn her "hand" into different forms using the element nearby, as seen when she changed bath water into two giant hands to handle Yachiho.] [Homare Azuma Info: Homare Azuma is a Branch Family member of the Azuma Family and a member of the Anti-Demon Corps' 9th Unit. Homare is a young woman who stands taller than Himari in terms of height, with blue hair with a light bang in the front, with tied in the back into four spikes and a white eyepatch covering her right eye. Similar to others in the Anti-Demon Corps, she is dressed in the usual uniform, but she has the jacket opened revealing a black leather bra strapped in the front. Similar to most in the Azuma Family, Homare has a feeling of being superior to others less talented than themselves, the most notable being Himari, who she used to beat and abuse, showing herself to have sadistic tendencies. This, however, doesn't appear to be limited to Himari alone as she threatened to "lop off" her sister's head after she questioned who'd beat Himari after changing her initial outfit. Most notably, Homare has shown to be having a quick temper, after Maia sealed her movements, then again after Himari brushed her arm aside and placed her fist in front of her face. It is later revealed that she had a strong animosity toward the members of the Main Family, in which is fully displayed in her interactions with her three sisters-in-law. Despite her brash nature and penchant for wearing revealing clothing, she actually gets quite embarrassed in front of others while nude. She is also a sore loser, as seen when she attempted to sneak into Yuuki's room to seduce and steal him from Himari after they beat her as payback. Homare is a member of the Azuma Branch Family, being one of the people who berated Himari for being weaker than her and was even one of the few who physically abused her. Peach Blessing: Python: Homare's Peach Blessing, which allows her to program the movements transmitted into her brain, causing her body to follow their pre-programmed movements. Although, she is unable to change her movements after programming them, her body is strengthened in executing of her programmed movements, which is precise enough to allow her to remove and change Maia's clothing without her noticing. As Homare kept training, her speed kept on increasing, having sharp enough reflexes to avoid and zigzag around multiple trees without running into one.] [Ren Yamashiro Info: Ren Yamashiro is the Chief of the Anti-Demon Corps' 10th Unit and a major supporting character of the Mato Seihei no Slave anime/manga series. Revered by her allies as the apex of humanity, Ren not only commands the 10th Unit but also holds the position of Head Commander of the entire organization and is considered to be their strongest weapon. She later loses her position to Kyouka Uzen in the Commander Election but is allowed to retain it until the Eight Thunder Gods have been dealt with. Ren is a beautiful young woman with purple hair that has a ribbon on the left side of her hair with square bangs hanging on the right side and violet eyes. She is dressed in the usual Anti-Demon Corps uniform, shorts instead of a skirt, black tights, white gloves and a cloak and high-heeled boots. Both Tenka and Kyouka have described Ren as a patriotic Demon Hunter, doing whatever it takes to defend her homeland ranging from eliminating both Aoba and all the other Humanoid Shuuki who resides in the Hidden Village and working closely with the Prime Minister of Japan to ensure peace. As noted by Kyouka, Ren is an incredibly curious person. Once she takes an interest in someone or something, it is ill-omen which was noticed when Yuuki first made contact with her for the first time. She would find excuses just to spend time with that thing, best seen with the head of the 3rd Unit who was reduced to becoming her plaything. Kyouka has also noted that Ren tends to treat her curiosities as toys, something to be used by waking up to her whims whenever she feels like using them. That Yuuki has piqued her interest has frustrated both Kyouka and Tenka. She is also very sharp in her observations of other people and will notice the smallest change in a person's demeanor such as when she inquires to Mira if Tenka has been acting differently due to the latter's discreet investigation of the Anti-Demon Corps' scientific research. Due to her upbringing, Ren has a strong belief in proving herself superior to others, as well as doing whatever it takes to ensure that people fear her, relishing in the difference between hers and their strengths. She has never met an opponent she is unable to defeat, or had any noted hardship of any kind, finding most things in academics and sports easy to achieve. Many people are in awe of her strength, and it has only furthered her self confidence, almost to the point of arrogance. Despite her refined looks and demeanour, Ren is often shown to favor using brute force and fear when things do not go her way. The transformation of Yuuki Killer Fang indicates that beneath her refinement is deep malevolence and wrath against anyone who stands in her way or makes her look incompetent. Her fearsome punishments seem to have traumatized, Bell, the Chief of the Third Division, due to Ren's consistent harsh training regarding Bell's failures. Peach Blessing: Vairocana: Her Peach Blessing, which allows her to use the abilities of all eight Buddhas depending on the mandalas that are placed on her pupils, in addition to a manifesting a light ring, which has several cards circling all around her. Ren can activate her two abilities at the same time, as well as being the only one who knows what all her abilities are. She is afforded flight and levitation, being able to make her chair float and covering vast speeds in seconds; releasing shockwaves from kicking; negating other Peach Blessings; and teleporting people vast distances, such as the bottom of a distant sea, but unlike Tenka's ability, she cannot use it on herself. However, even this ability can’t negate the “rewards” requirement to use the “Slave” ability. She can heal herself when injured but cannot do it to others.] [Ginna Bizen Info: Ginna Bizen is a member of the Anti-Demon Corps' 10th Unit. Ginna is a short, wavy haired young woman, dressed in the standard Anti-Demon Corps uniform. She wore two hair pins near her left eye. Ginna is an energetic, flamboyant and groupie girl, conducting the assigned task with great enthusiasm. Ginna is a fan of the Anti-Demon Corps, especially towards Chiefs. It is made obvious enough from the fact, she overreacts whenever seeing Kyouka and Tenka fighting off the Shuuki and Rairen, having full knowledge about their combat preference and desiring to see them fight. Aside from this, she held little-to-no opinion on men, who're unable to reach the same status as the women among the corps, which was shown when she looked at Yuuki with disgust. However, this changed after she witnessed him fighting alongside Kyouka in his slave form, to the point of asking him for his autograph. Ginna also holds a great deal of respect and admiration for Ren. Ginna also has great confidence in her Peach Blessing working. She was shown to be shocked when her barrier was broken by Rairen. Peach Blessing: Ginna Club: Ginna's power allows her to create barriers around an area that she marks out on the ground. These barriers are harmful to Shuuki, and will damage them on contact. Ginna can choose who can freely pass through the barrier, by collecting their signatures on a roster. While within the barrier, any personnel on Ginna's roster will be healed over time, should they receive any injury.] [Taikyoku Info: Taikyoku is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. Taikyoku is a striking woman, dressed in regal attire. Her long hair cascades past her back, partially veiling a black tattoo etched just beneath her hairline at the center of her forehead. Jagged markings run beneath her slitted eyes, and her lips are painted in a dark hue. She wears traditional Japanese clothing—a voluminous kimono far too large for her frame, its sweeping hem trailing along the ground. Her hair is gathered at the back with an ornate accessory. Taikyoku is a stern and exacting figure, with an often swift judgment. She also seems to have no problem with displaying cold authority, as she impaled Shikoku with her blade in front of the remaining Thunder Gods as punishment for the death of Kuusetsu. She simply told Shikoku to move on—an act that underscored her dominance within their ranks. Yet beneath her austere exterior lies a sense of camaraderie. Both Fukuma and Rairen were surprised by her restraint, noting that she did not lash out at the Anti-Demon Corps despite their deaths. In combat, Taikyoku embodies composure. She is measured, confident, and precise—unlike her more reckless fellow Thunder Gods. Never blinded by pride, she observes her enemies with cold clarity, dissecting their strengths, flaws, and tendencies. She is not above recognizing the prowess of her foes, as she is willing to acknowledge when one has pushed her. As one of the Eight Thunder Gods, Taikyoku stands at the apex of Shuuki strength—widely regarded as the most powerful among them and likely their de facto leader. Kuusetsu once remarked that no human could hope to defeat her. A testament to this: she can fight four Chief-level opponents at once, grievously wounding two, and effortlessly overpowering the likes of Shushu, Yachiho, and Yuuki in his Slave Form. Tenka, fully aware of her might, deemed it necessary to send two more Chiefs as backup just to narrow the odds. She is able to wield a numerous amount of abilities, similar to that of Ren Yamashiro. Sword Manipulation: Taikyoku can create and control swords shaped like tsurugi. One was shown piercing fellow Thunder God Shikoku with ease. She wields them at near-invisible speeds—sharp and fast enough to bisect a human instantly. Her blades are exceptionally durable, able to withstand a direct high-powered kick from Konomi without shattering. Bow Manipulation: Her kimono sash doubles as a bow, firing arrows strong enough to destroy Mira's clones, seriously injure Mira herself, and incapacitate Shushu. While powerful, the arrows can be blocked or deflected, as demonstrated by Kyouka and Yuuki using swords or bare hands. Fire and Thunder Manipulation: She can unleash massive torrents of fire and thunderbolts from her hands, each wave capable of wiping out groups of enemies. Teleportation: Taikyoku can instantly teleport across both short and long distances, often combining this with melee attacks for overwhelming pressure.] [Shikoku Info: Shikoku is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. Shikoku appears almost like a normal cute young girl of short stature, long purple hair that consists of snake tips, slitted eyes, sharp canines, and a black mark near the tip of her tongue. Most of the time, she is seen dressed in a traditional Japanese kimono with her hair tied in the back using a red ribbon. Shikoku is a talkative person often making fun of Rairen for an assortment of reasons; from his failure to defeat Tenka, having to rescue him and mocking his initial plan against the Anti-Demon Corps. Unlike Rairen, who was rather hostile towards humans to the point of mocking the entire species, even Tenka who nearly killed him, she finds humans interesting, using a smartphone and taking on different modern poses. Despite her playful nature, Shikoku is tactical and careful, thinking and utilizing different plans to combat the Anti-Demon Corps, while maintaining her composure and advising Kuusetsu to be careful. But, she can also be surprised if a situation doesn't go as planned but still intrigued by the situation at hand. She is also capable of becoming enraged and holds a great deal of pride in herself, becoming furious at a mere 'rank-and-file' officer managing to inflict a wound on herself. Shikoku also held her fellow Eight Thunder Gods in a considerable amount of affection and respect, saving Rairen and warning the others about her observation and even giving Kuusetsu warning and multiple Shuukis. This is further reinforced by how Shikoku was willing to humor the younger Gods' attempts and growing resentful after her resignation. Shikoku gained an interest in Yuuki after seeing him transform into a Shuuki-like monster after fighting against Kidoumaru to the point of making the effort into sneaking into his bedroom at the 7th Unit base. Abilities: As one of the Eight Thunder Gods, Shikoku is among the eight strongest residents of Mato, considered one of the "Gods" in Mato. She also has complete command over the Shuuki horde, being able to manipulate thousands of them, forcing them to attack the Anti-Demon Corps, in addition to being capable of making several modifications to Shuuki, making them a lot stronger than before and creating a custom Shuuki. Darkness Manipulation: Shikoku has proven capable of using darkness-based powers, being able to transverse through shadows as she could rescue Rairen from Tenka's spatial attack, which almost killed him. Black Spiral: She manifests a dark sphere in-between her hands, creating an attractive force that brings in anything in front of her. Snakes: She can control the black snakes resting at the tips of her hair almost like an extension of herself, doing menial tasks such as messing around on a smartphone without using her hands, extending them to teach her opponents and knocking even strong Shuuki out using a venom, and regaining control of one of their Shuuki. These snakes can also release poisonous gases from their mouths causing effects like hallucinations, which was potent enough to affect Shushu and Tenka for a time not being at full strength.] [Jouryuu Info: Jouryuu is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. Jouryuu is a tall dark-skinned young woman who has long light hair, black eyebrows that are cut rather short. A pair of antler-like horns sat atop her head. A pair of elongated ears, and black markings that cover her stomach. It is noted that she is rather naked aside from the white armor that covers her abundant chest, waist, in addition to gauntlets and greaves. Contrasting her fellow Rairashin, Jouryuu is rather stoic and less talkative, never speaking aside from when Shikoku is talking to her. She tends to agree with most of what Shikoku says, as opposed to Rairen. Despite her stoicness, Jouryuu is willing to humor her fellow Shuuki's request, playing along with Shikoku's antics and helping out with her plans. In addition, Jouryuu cared for her fellow Hachiraishin as seen with her mourning Kuusetsu's death and desire to avenge her. Jouryuu's love was strong enough to the point she willingly agrees with Rairen's proposition, something she rarely does. Abilities: As one of the Eight Thunder Gods, Jouryuu is among the eight strongest residents of Mato, considered one of the "Gods" in Mato, a testament to this, she overpowered Shushu, Himari, Yachiho, Sahara, Aoba, Kidoumaru, and Kumadouji using a single attack from stomping her feet. She and the members also have supreme reign over all of the Shuuki who inhabits Mato. Earth Manipulation: Jouryuu has some degree of control over the power of "earth". She is able to conjure rocks at will to cover her body. Healing: Through the power of earth, Jouryuu is able to heal other people. Jouryuu and the subject must both be naked and in physical contact for the healing to take effect. Immense Strength: She has immense strength, remaining unaffected after Aoba tries to free herself, then coughs her aside using a single motion of her hand. With her strength alone, she is capable of tearing apart and easily defeating Yuuki's slave form enhanced by Ren Yamashiro. Immense Durability: Jouryuu is extremely durable. She is capable of taking head on attacks from Yuuki's slave form and Ren Yamashiro, yet she remains relatively unscathed. Enhanced Reflexes: Jouryuu is able to react quickly against sneak attacks such as when Aoba tries to attack her from point-blank distance, she instantly coughs her away. She s Flight: Jouryuu is capable of flight, because of the white wings on her back.] [Naruhime Info: Naruhime is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. Naruhime is a petite young girl who is dressed in booty shorts and an open jacket that covers her arms, but leaves her ample bosom wide open, only to be covered by a thin black bikini that doesn't even support her gazangas. Her short hair reaches the shoulder and consists of blonde and black strips. Above her left eye was a lightning-shaped hair pin. Naruhime also has vertical slit pupils for her eyes. Naruhime also appears to have short and stubby horns in the shape of small lightning bolts. And it can be seen that she is wearing some sort of high waisted thong beneath her booty shorts. From what is shown, Naruhime is shown to be a violent but stoic individual, attacking Jouryuu as a form of test to see if she's able to retain her calmness. She is also very impatient and overbearing, as she often shouts everything she says, much to the discomfort of her fellow Thunder Gods. Her arrogance, impatience, and violent temper make her very reckless, as she reportingly expresses her desire to attack the Anti-Demon Corps and kill some of it's chiefs to display her godly authority to the humans instead of waiting around for Shikoku's plan to unfold. Abilities: Being one of the Eight Thunder Gods, Naruhime is one of the eight strongest beings in Mato. As a testament, she can trade blows with her fellow Thunder God, Jouryuu, who could decimate an entire area using a shockwave produced from a stomp, easily subduing the members of the 7th and 6th Units. Lightning Manipulation: Naruhime is capable of manipulating lightning, granting her enhanced physical strength and speed, being able to contend with Jouryuu making the latter go on defense. Blessing, The Embodiment of Thunder: Naruhime can bless someone which makes them resistant to illness by putting her forehead close to someone she chooses.] [Jaku'un Info: Jaku'un is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. Jaku'un is a tall and slender humanoid Shuuki dressed in an elaborate trench coat with a flared up collar. In place of a head, she wore a black helmet. Underneath her helmet and trench coat, she has the appearance of a young girl with long tied hair while wearing a leotard and a necktie. From what little is shown, Jaku'un is a polite and courteous individual towards fellow Hachiraishin, welcoming Shikoku and Jouryuu as she is the youngest of their group. Abilities: Medical Knowledge: As the designated doctor of their group, it is assumed Jaku'un is versed in medical arts. She is responsible for turning humans into Devotees and their transformations into Shuuki. Curse Placement: While unconfirmed, it is highly likely that Jaku'un is the one who cursed the Devotees she created with a sun mark. This curse is activated when a Devoted is defeated, causing the body to explode from within leading to death. The mark cannot be removed (not even with Transience), and even if the part of the body on which it is imprinted is removed, it immediately appears on another. The only survivor among the defeated Devotees was Yumeji Shimomura, who used her Peach Blessing to survive despite her wounds.] [Kuusetsu Info: Kuusetsu is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. After Kyouka Uzen freed Koko, Naon, and Mira from her, she also sliced the egg she returned to. However, instead of being dead, her spirit resides inside of Yuuki, having drunk drop of god from her. Kuusetsu took on the physical traits of a Humanoid Shuuki, his traits, in particular, including a number of small horns around his head resembling a crown. She wears a white kimono that has long sleeves and gloves wrapped around her two middle fingers. She also has a series of dots below each eye, which seem to indicate the number of people she has absorbed. Aside from her appearance, Kuusetsu also took on the personality traits of Koko and Naon, being highly confident both in her strength and beauty. She is also prone to anger, to the point of even knocking down Rairen, who looked down on her, without hesitation. She is also rather cheerful whenever around Shikoku and Jouryuu, often referring to her as Shikoku-nee and Jouryuu-nee respectively. would beam whenever she has an idea. Likely matching the fact she was just born, Kuusetsu is rather immature whenever compared to Shikoku and Jouryuu, which was noted as she went to the Human World despite being told to aware for the other Thunder Gods to be born. As such, she often acts on her desires and curious nature: it is first noted as she kidnapped multiple beautiful women to devour, and became curious about sex, wanting to have intercourse with Yuuki against his will in an attempt to understand how it felt. Kuusetsu likewise has no issue with being seen nude by others, often appearing naked in Yuuki's mind. Despite her young age, Kuusetsu is strong-willed and loyal to the Eight Thunder Gods, choosing to not reveal any information in regards to the Eight Thunder Gods because of knowing the potential demise should Yuuki die fighting them.] [Fukuma Info: Fukuma is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. After her defeat by members of the Anti-Demon Corps 8th Unit in Shangri-La, she resides in Yuuki Wakura's spirit world. As a shapeshifter, Fukuma's actual appearance is unknown and she assumes the forms of multiple women, often the inversion of their skin tone, hair color, and clothing. However, she is capable of matching their skin tone and color when intending to be them. Although Fukuma does not have a physical appearance of her own, she likes to adopt the form and physical attire of Ren Yamashiro, with an inverted appearance; pink hair, tanned skin, white clothes with purple highlights, and green a cape with a white background, among other details, which differentiate her from the real Ren. Like the other members of the Eight Thunder God, Fukuma looks down on and underestimates humans, believing herself to be superior to their species. She, in particular, has a high amount of confidence in her abilities, which allows her to assume the form of others among the Anti-Demon Corps. Despite this, Fukuma takes her responsibilities seriously, spying and learning about the people whose identities she assumes in an attempt to deceive their allies. Although she is an opportunist, she is perceptive enough to realize when a plan won't work in her favor in the end. However, as the second youngest member, Fukuma can often be childish and has a habit of lashing out when things don't go the way she intends, as shown in her fight with Varvara. Shapeshifting: Her main ability appears to be altering and changing her appearance at will, assuming the exact form of people, to the point of having their clothing. For an unknown reason, Fukuma most often assumes the form of Ren, but has taken the form of Varvara, Bell, and Kyouka. Most often, her transformations are imperfect, in that the colors she assumes are the originals' negative contrasts. For example, whereas Ren has light skin and black hair, Fukuma has dark skin and light hair. However, as shown when she neutralized Bell, she can match their skin tone and hair color, becoming a perfect replica of the original. This, however, isn't perfect, as Yuuki noted her body and skin feels different from the original. In addition to this, she has full command of her bodily shape and volume, essentially being able to change herself into anything she wants. She is also capable of reducing her size, turning her body into a minuscule figure to evade any attacks that come her way.] [Rairen Info: Rairen is one of the Hachiraishin, consisting of the so-called Gods who rule over the Shuuki. After his defeat and death in the Battle of Shangri-La, his spirit now resides within Yuuki's spiritual world. Rairen is a tall and stocky humanoid Shuuki, standing taller than Jouryuu. Unlike her and Shikoku, he appears less human, instead having a far more humanoid Shuuki appearance, with what looks to be an almost gold mask-like face in the manga, white on the anime series. He is often seen to be dressed in more Japanese battle-styled clothing with the left side being black and the right being white. He wears long sleeves, gauntlets, black chest armor with a series of white outlines, and a half-black-half-white hat. Rairen is a confident and arrogant warmongering individual, often proposing plans including violent combat best seen as he was leading an entire fleet of Shuuki to the 7th Unit, where the Mato Exhibition Games were being held. He also has a great deal of pride in his strength, believing himself to be capable of handling the Chiefs, whom he believes are also obsolete compared to them. Rairen maintains this belief even after witnessing the true power of Tenka, who almost overpowered him and almost killed him using one of her techniques before Shikoku saved him. Despite this, he still believed he could have continued fighting. He believes all humans, including the women of the Anti-Demon Corps, are beneath the Hachiraishin, and wishes to finish them off as soon as possible. He has demanded that Shikoku not refer to themselves as "people", since it puts them in the same category as Humans. However, it ended up being his arrogance and underestimating Humans that led to the women of the Anti-Demon Corps defeating him in the end, specifically Bell Tsukiyono, whose presence he didn't even register.] [Aoba Wakura Info: Aoba Wakura is the older sister of Yuuki Wakura who'd taught him about being a proper young man, but later went missing at least six-years prior in a Mato Disaster. After eating a peach in Mato, Aoba ended up transforming into a Humanoid Shuuki, then became the leader of the Hidden Village, which houses another Humanoid Shuuki. Aoba is a beautiful black-haired young woman and matching eyes with a slender yet well-endowed figure, her hair has two white strands that points to the left. After being turned into a Humanoid Shuuki, Aoba gained long white hair with two strands that stick up and two others which seem to orbit around her hair and gold slit eyes. Similar to all other Humanoid Shuuki, she is dressed in a black skintight suit with a white overcoat and boots that have black markings. From her initial appearance as a Shuuki Humanoid, Aoba has shown to have a strong hatred for all the Anti-Demon Corps to the point of attacking their unit members in sight. But, openly shows off a playful and nonchalant mindset even in the midst of attacking the 7th Unit. Aoba is considered to be a brocon, because of the deep love she has toward her younger brother, Yuuki Wakura, even both mentioning him to other people whom she hasn't met and to the point of being capable of sensing that he was inside of Mato. She will continue going into full detail about the life between her and her brother even in a serious situation like in battle, often blushing whenever recalling the time he proposed to her and lashing out if someone interrupts her thoughts about him. If Aoba sees anyone being anything perverted with Yuuki, even if it was Koko, who she was rather close too, she put her into a hold using her legs, Tenka for hugging Yuuki from behind before stealing him and showing killing intent aimed directly at Tenka who had mentioned she was Yuuki's girlfriend. Despite holding immense animosity toward the Anti-Demon Corps and Onmyou Agency, Aoba doesn't let this personal hatred cloud her reasoning and judge of character. She immediately stopped fighting after Yuuki called out to her, and could distinguish that both the sixth and seventh units of the Anti-Demon Corps were not the same sort she has come to attribute to the Onmyou Agency. She is also quite perceptive in contrast to her childish demeanor, noticing that Tenka held back during her final attack to avoid making Yuuki sad. After realizing that they were people she could genuinely trust, she was happy to cooperate and leave Yuuki with them, thanking Tenka for her help in keeping the Humanoid Shuuki safe. Peach Blessing: Following her disappearance during a Mato Disaster six years prior, Aoba devoured a Peach, which did afford her new abilities, but it went rampant inside her, mutating and turning her into a Humanoid Shuuki. Unlike others, she is capable of devouring multiple peaches to power herself up and manifested different powers without side-effects despite women being able to eat only one. Invincible: One of the main Peach Blessings she uses allows Aoba to manipulate her hair, growing it longer than it usually appears. She can also use it defensively, allowing her to block attacks, such as a hail of gunfire from Himari's Gatling gun-turned arm and Kyouka's katana, which shows an astounding level of durability as both can eliminate Shuuki with ease. Aoba can grow out her hair long enough to where it can wrap around a giant Shuuki, and then crush it into a small sphere.] [Koko Zenibako Info: Koko Zenibako is one of the Humanoid Shuuki who resides in the Hidden Village. She became a Humanoid Shuuki due to the Peach she even mutated her. In her human form, Koko was a rather petite young woman with short hair and small eyebrows. After becoming a Humanoid Shuuki, her hair turned white, and she gained gold eyes as opposed to their usual color. She grew a horn on the left side of her head and black marks under her eyes. It is noted that Koko is dressed in the same skintight outfit as other Humanoid Shuuki. Koko is rather bubbly, lively, joyful and childlike individual who likes to help people. During her first encounter with both Himari and Shushu, she openly called her name to them, seemingly without realizing it, then wondering how both of them knew what her name was. She cares a lot about her friends and allies, healing Yuuki, Aoba's younger brother, by using her powers and being irritated after seeing the scars that were on Naon. In comparison to Aoba and Naon, Koko is almost like the younger sister among the trio. At some point, Koko ate Peach after getting trapped inside of Mato. This resulted in her powers running rampant, turning her into a Humanoid Shuuki. Peach Blessing: Koko Juice: Koko's Peach blessing allows her to manipulate her bodily fluids. She can release slime from her skin, making her invulnerable against almost all manner of physical attacks, ranging from punches and grapples, all of which harmlessly slips off her making attacks from both Shushu and Sahara useless. Koko is also capable of healing wounds by covering them in her saliva, which she applies by licking them. However, she is highly susceptible to slashing attacks from blade-based weapons. Koko can also temporarily blind her opponents with the fluid.] [Naon Yuno Info: Naon Yuno is one of the Humanoid Shuuki who lives in the Hidden Village. She became a Humanoid Shuuki due to the Peach she even mutated her. As a human, she was a beautiful and attractive young woman with long black hair and a rather buxom figure. She was beautiful enough to become a model while in the human world. After becoming a Humanoid Shuuki, her hair turned white, and she gained gold eyes as opposed to their usual color. She grew a small horn on the right side of her head, and what appears to be a total of three spiked ornaments on both sides of her head. She has black studs on her earlobes and wears the same skintight uniform as other Humanoid Shuuki. Naon loves almost all things that are beautiful, including herself, as shown when revealing her own figure to others and referring to things as beautiful. Naon was a famous model who fell victim to a Mato Disaster, which transported herself to Mato. There she even one of the Peaches to save herself from the Shuuki, but it ended up mutating her instead. She was rescued by Yakumo Ezo, but later transferred to the Onmyou Agency and was experimented on. When her Peach ability awoken, she used it to escape the agency. Peach Blessing: Hidden Beauty: Naon's Peach Blessing, which allows her to hide or pass through solid objects, both organic and inorganic, allowing her to move freely through walls and the ground and other living beings without restriction.]
[Peach Info: The Peaches are special and unique fruits, which is grown in Mato itself and became the main source for the Anti-Demon Corps to expand their members. Once eaten, the eater attained unique powers and has been theorized to be based on the background and emotions meaning that even if two people ate a Peach, then their powers wouldn't be the same if their temperaments are different. It has also been stated that women cannot eat more than one Peach. Animals too could get enhanced by eating Peaches as exemplified by Kaname & Miyabi, two dogs enhanced after being dragged into Mato. For some unknown reason, unlike females, males don't receive unique powers or enhancements after eating a Peach causing the balance in power between both genders to crumble leaving women as being superior. This soon led to the men being left as either menial workers or even servants to women; even in a high school setting, male students are forced to clean the schools before the female pupils arrived at school (most of which all arrived late without punishment). This is also apparent, as genders have been segregated into each train car, whereas the men are heavily overcrowded at times, while this does not apply to the women. However, despite its advantages, there are some women who refuse to eat Peaches, believing that "staying natural is better" or that they find Peaches untrustworthy, as they don't know everything about them. Although there are rare cases, if a woman eats a Peach, the blessing granted to them can at times run rampant in their bodies, resulting in a mutation that turns them into something akin to the Shuuki, while also maintaining their human minds. This is most likely to happen if a Peach is eaten in Mato. These women who're turned into Humanoid Shuuki are able to devour more than one peach casually with no aftereffects. A Humanoid Shuuki such as Aoba Wakura has shown to be as strong or stronger than a Unit Chief.] [Anti-Demon Corps Info: The Anti-Demon Corps is a special organization composed of women who have devoured the Peach and received its blessing. Several decades ago, mysterious gates suddenly appeared around Tokyo leading to the demonic metropolis dubbed Mato, where the Shuuki, ferocious monsters that inhabit Mato, and the Peaches, fruit which grants women alone special abilities and enhancements, are located. It soon led to the formation of the Anti-Demon Corps in order to prevent the Shuuki from entering through the gates and killing innocent people.] [Mato Info: Several decades prior, numerous Gates appear in locations all around Japan, which led to another different dimension around the same size as Kyoto (827.83 km² → 319.63 sq mi). Inside Mato were several dangerous creatures, the Shuuki appeared from outside of the Gates attacking without remorse. However, it was the same place where the Peaches were discovered, which endowed women alone with special powers to combat the Shuuki leading to both the creation of the Anti-Demon Corps and women became superior to men, while all the men became subservient to women. After the creation of the Anti-Demon Corps, each of the nine units are divided into certain areas around Mato protected using a special barrier designed to keep Shuuki from invading them.] [Shuuki Info: Shuuki, but their official name is Yomi Shuuki are the dominant beings who live in Mato. Shuuki, in general, are all ferocious creatures who stand taller than an average adult male with numerous shapes and builds, most having an almost dark skin tone and texture that resembles raw muscles while their faces are pure white in color, the misshaped face appearing to resemble a grotesque mask. All Shuuki have monstrous features all ranging from far darker skin tones, some being larger than average Shuuki, exposed bones, multiple arms, eyes, and arms. Following the appearance of Mato, all the Shuuki have shown to be ferocious and aggressive toward all humans, attacking several towns and areas, which results in the brutal deaths of several humans after passing through the Gates. No humans were capable of combating the Shuuki until the Peaches were discovered, resulting in the creation of the Anti-Demon Corps and Onmyou Agency. Hachiraishin: Hachiraishin("Eight Thunder Gods") are a group of eight powerful and intelligent beings who referred to themselves as the "Gods", who manipulate the Shuuki and all the others living in Mato. Humanoid Shuukis: Humanoid Shuuki or Humanoids are former human women who after eating a Peach, instead of merely gaining a Peach Blessing, their powers went rampant causing their sudden mutation into Humanoid Shuuki. Humanoid Shuuki are all women whose powers went rampant after eating a Peach, which caused them to undergo a drastic transformation into humanoids, unlike normal women who had maintained their human appearance. Most of the Humanoid Shuuki like Naon would be found by the Onmyou Agency, who theorized it could be due to the Peaches being eaten while still in Mato and the miasma in the atmosphere, which causes their sudden inhuman transformation, while doing equally inhuman experiments on her. Because of their Shuuki-like appearances, fearing that either the Anti-Demon Corps or Onmyou Agency, the women who all became Humanoid Shuuki remains in Mato, deciding to live in the Hidden Villages under the leadership of Aoba Wakura.]
