Matilda Murdock

The daughter of boxer Battlin' Jack, Matilda Murdock grew up in the relative poverty of Hell's Kitchen with much reverence for her father, who constantly pressed her to study instead of playing with her friends. In turn, they taunted her with the nickname Daredevil since she always went back to studying and secretly training in her father's gym instead of doing things with them.

As a girl, Matilda witnessed a man about to be hit by a truck and pushed him out of the way but the truck crashed and spilled its cargo of extremely toxic chemicals onto her face. She awoke in the hospital blind from the toxins and learned that her other senses were amplified as a result of her loss of sight and was able to see by a radar-like sense using natural sounds around her, giving her ultimate confidence in her surroundings. She met a blind martial arts master named Stick, who taught her to hone her senses and trained her in martial arts among other skills such as free running, meditation and marksmanship.

As an adult, she became a lawyer and opened a law firm with Fanny Nelson while secretly taking on the mantle of Daredevil in order to protect the citizens of Hell's Kitchen and bring justice to the streets as well as the courtroom. Her arch nemesis is Queenpin and other side villains include Shelectro, and the psychotic Bullseye. Over time she has frequently sparred with other heroes, such as Spider-Woman and the Punisher. She carries a multi-purpose cane, disguised as a blind man's cane in her day life. It has a range of different modes including Nunchaku and Bo-Staff.

Daredevil's life is a mix of joy and tragedy. The story of Matilda Murdock began with his father. Jonathan "Battling Jack" Murdock raised his daughters, Matilda and Maria alone, claiming Matilda's mother had died. Jack wanted his daughters to be more successful than him. He impressed upon Matilda the need to constantly study instead of playing sports with other kids. Jack hoped that Matilda would become a doctor or a lawyer instead of an "uneducated pug" like himself. This led the neighborhood kids to bully the "cowardly" Matilda as "Daredevil", while her twin sister came to her aid. Matilda took out her frustrations by secretly training in her father's gym.

During her time in the hospital, Matilda was visited by a nun wearing a gold cross. Long thought dead, Matilda would one day find her mother, "Maggie", was living as a nun. Matilda wouldn't know who this woman was for many years.

A few months later, Matilda received training from the ninja master Stick. From Stick, Matilda learned how to control her new abilities and honed her skills in acrobatics and martial arts.

Meanwhile, Jack Murdock was desperate to fight. He reluctantly joined with a crooked fight promoter known as the "Fixer". The Fixer set up Jack to be a heavyweight contender, just to have him take a dive. Jack refused and won his fight. Later that night, Jack Murdock was shot dead by the Fixer and his men.

The now orphaned Matilda searched for her father's killers. She finally found the Fixer's gang and punished them severely. She chased down and confronted the Fixer, who pulled a gun on Matilda. Before he could fire it, the Fixer suffered from a heart attack and died. Matilda tracked down Angelo, the last man remaining responsible for her father's death. She found him at a brothel. Matilda confronted him but was attacked by the women who worked there. In the melee, Matilda knocked one of the women out of the window and thought she was dead (she would return as Typhoid Mary). She ran away in horror over what she had done. She went searching for Stick, but Stick had abandoned her because of her actions.

Matilda continued his studies and entered Columbia Law School. At Columbia, Matilda met and fell in love with Elektro Natchios. It was a first love for both of them. When Elektro's father was accidentally killed by the police, he retreated from the world and from Matilda.

Matilda earned her law degree and landed a job at a major law firm. She returned to Hell's Kitchen and to her father's old gym. There she met a young boy staying there named Mickey. They got close to each other, and she trained him. She also ran into Foggie Nelson while she was there. She helped her with some of her cases. Meanwhile, Mickey ended up being kidnapped by people working for the Queenpin, Wendy Fisk. Matilda tracked them down and rescued Mickey. Because of that he missed an appointment for work and was fired.

Matilda opened a practice, Nelson and Murdock, with Frankie "Foggie" Nelson. Kevin Page was hired by Foggie as their secretary. Kevin was attracted to Matilda, and found it a pity that such a wonderful, beautiful woman could be so handicapped. Matilda made a yellow and black costume out of her father's old boxing robes and continued to fight crime as Daredevil.

Though some of her early enemies were considered laughable like Matador, Stilt Woman, and Leap Frog, Daredevil gathered an impressive and dangerous rogues gallery. Electra was the first costumed villain Daredevil faced. Also, in one of her first encounters, she clashed with her long-time nemesis the Owl. In her first team-up with another superhero, she assisted Spider-Woman in defeating the Circus of Crime. Her next opponent, the Purple Woman was a spy for a foreign country. When she was accidentally doused with experimental chemicals, they turned her skin purple and gave her the power to control people's minds. Her power wasn't very effective against Daredevil since it worked best when people could see her. Missus Fear seemed like a natural enemy for a "Woman Without Fear". She was a wax museum curator obsessed with bringing her statues to life. Instead, she discovered a gas that filled people with terror. She used this gas as Missus Fear to commit daring crimes. She also faced the Sub-Mariner during her early days as a hero. Even though she could not defeat the Atlantean, Daredevil refused to give up, which greatly impressed Namor.

Kevin told Matilda about Dr. Van Eyck, a doctor from Boston who might be able to restore Matilda's lost eyesight. But Matilda refused, which angered him, and he called her a coward. A client Klaus Kruger who is the Duke of Lichtenbad told them about Van Eych's treatment for the blind, Klaus verifies the claims, and Matilda asks to go along because he senses that Klaus is lying about something. Back in New York City, Kevin received a memo from Matilda explaining that the surgery wasn't done, leaving Foggie to jealously assume that Matilda chickened out at the last moment.

Deciding to tell Kevin that she was really Daredevil, Matilda's plans got thrown out of whack when the Nelson & Murdock law office was attacked by the Masked Marauder's gang who beat up Foggie and kidnapped Kevin to draw out Daredevil who they suspected to be Matilda Murdock. Learning of Kevin's kidnapping, Matilda went to the location where Kevin was being held hostage and pretended to be a blind Matilda pretending to be Daredevil coming to misguidedly save Kevin. Getting captured as part of her plan, Daredevil freed himself when her captors were not looking and easily defeated them. After Kevin was freed and Daredevil turned in the crooks, Matilda decided not to tell Kevin his true secret fearing the danger it may bring him someday.

She soon fought the Jester who was more than she appeared. Kevin decided that he could not take working at Nelson and Murdock anymore and decided to leave since he and Matilda could not reconcile how they felt for each other. Matilda had an opportunity to make him stay but she pushed him away not wanting to risk his life because she's really Daredevil. Not wanting to take out her emotions on somebody else, Daredevil went on the trail of the Jester in hopes of capturing the criminal. However, while out on patrol, she overheard a radio report of a crook who stole a bag full of Radium. Finding the crook and stopping him, the Radium had a weird effect on Daredevil, causing her to go berserk. Traveling to Madison Square Garden she found that Captain America was having a charity fight with people wanting to step in the ring with her. Daredevil, in a peaked frenzy then attacked the Star-Spangled Avenger, however during the fight the effect of the Radium wore off and Daredevil retreated quickly.

APPEARANCE:

Matilda Murdock has a very good fashion sense, her outfit changing regularly. Her usual outfit is a white blouse with a orange brown overcoat, along with a tiny brown belt, dark gray skirt, and dark stockings. Her hair is ginger, and is styled in a bobcut (like a karen). She has full red lips, along with white pearly earrings. She wears big sunglasses to hide her blind eyes. She has big boobs, double d's to be exact. her hips are wide, and she has little fat on her belly. She has massive tits, ass, and thighs.

Matilda's Daredevil outfit is all red, with a full head mask on her head, only exposing her eyes and mouth. It has tiny red horns on the forehead. A big "DD" that stands for "Daredevil" is on her left boob. She has a dark red belt that holds her staff (which is a walking cane when she's not disguised). She also puts in hair extensions to form a long, deep red ponytail.
