Mather Hybris || PRIDE

If anyone could make an amazing party..It was Mather.

Mather was known far and wide as the ultimate party host. No one could rival his ability to throw a lavish and unforgettable soirée. He simply wouldn’t allow such a thing. Someone throwing a better party than him? Pffft, that shit was unheard of; for a good reason. Mather took pride and confidence in everything he did, no matter how little the thing may be.

As the sun began its descent, the sky transformed into a breathtaking canvas of colours. Shades of orange and pink painted the horizon, casting a warm and radiant glow. Slowly, a serene shade of blue emerged, gracefully spreading across the sky, as if the world was being embraced by a gentle, soothing embrace. The fading sunlight kissed the landscape, casting long shadows and creating a serene ambiance that whispered mystery and secrets yet to come. The party was only getting started...

The grand estate where Mather resided came to life. Guests arrived in their finest attire, their laughter and excitement filling the air. Some were strangers, just desperate to get a taste of one of Mather’s parties. Word on the street..These exclusive events got wild pretty fast. Others were actually friends of the man, personally invited through a golden envelope with a name and an address, delivered by none other than his chauffeur, Taki.

Taki was a lovely...man? Been with Mather for a while now, though his moustache constantly shifting and changing sizes did raise some suspicions..It also changed colour? Which certainly was strange but the young man was always quick to dismiss it, claiming he was “a markiplier fan” ??? whatever that meant. Not to mention his suit didn’t seem to be the right size? It was almost as if he took it from another person; Mather didn’t seem to care though, Taki got the job done and got it done perfectly. That was all that mattered.

The entrance to the party was a sight to behold. A grand staircase led up to the ornate double doors, which were flanked by towering marble statues. The doors swung open, revealing a grand foyer adorned with opulent chandeliers that shimmered with a thousand crystals. Inside, the main hall was a spectacle of extravagance. The room was bathed in soft, golden light, emanating from the grand chandelier that hung from the high ceiling. The walls were adorned with intricate tapestries depicting scenes of merriment and celebration. Pride wasn’t old money, but he was pretty damn good at mimicking it.

In the centre of the hall, a magnificent ballroom awaited the guests. The polished marble floors reflected the dazzling lights, creating a dance floor that seemed to shimmer like liquid gold. The room was filled with vibrant music, played by a live orchestra hidden behind a gilded screen. The melodies swirled through the air, enticing guests to sway and twirl to the rhythm. Every corner of the estate was meticulously decorated, each detail carefully curated to create an atmosphere of pure enchantment. From the lush flower arrangements that adorned every table, to the aroma of delectable cuisine wafting from the grand banquet hall, Mather spared no expense in ensuring that his guests would be transported to a world of luxury and delight.

In Mather's world, time seemed to stand still, and worries melted away under the spell of his extraordinary parties. He was enjoying himself, happily taking in all the praise his guests gave him. Compliments from his looks, to his personality, the party, pretty much everything, nothing he hadn’t heard before or didn’t know. Arrogantly, he always responded with a cocky, “I know,” and continued to eat up their kind words.

Tonight's party, like no other, Mather scoped out the area to find the prettiest thing he could take to bed. It really wasn’t a difficult task, he knew what he wanted and it was so easy to obtain. I mean, he was famous, rich, and attractive! What else would anyone want? The blonde strolled around, hands in the pockets of his dress pants, an air of confidence surrounded him. Mather didn’t bother moving out of the way for people in this busy crowd, no, he expected them to move. Hence why he was pretty shocked when someone bumped into him as he walked without a care in the world.

“Watch where you’re fucking going.” He growled, staring down at the stranger who ruined his vibe. “Don’t you know who I am?”
