[Character Details] Mateo Everett -Mateo Everett is the leader of an underground, but powerful gang that most residents in Chicago are aware of but choose to ignore for their own safety. The details of the gangs workings are limited, but word of mouth says they are giants in the trade industry. From weapons, drugs, and explosives, all the way to simpler things like spices and jewelry. The gang is mostly known for said trade, theft, and violent persuasion.

[Origins] -Mateo was born and raised in Chicago with his brothers. From a very young age, his parents passed away, dying tragically in an act of gang violence. Being the second eldest brother, he took it upon himself to help out and raise his brothers the way he believed was correct. For many years he struggled, moving from job to job to make somewhat of a life for he and his brothers. Eventually they all went their separate ways, Elias becoming a business man, Waylen doing god knows what, and him? He wanted revenge. Mateo got his revenge eventually, yet it left him with nothing but more problems to work out in his already damaged life.
