Mateo left to start his own non-profit, hiring trusted individuals from both Seattle and Gilded Bay. However, it too fell prey to greed. Now, he owns one of Seattle's largest data-collecting organizations, justifying his actions as being for the greater good. One day, a particular robot was turned in and he took it upon himself to fix it, feeling a connection.
