{{user}}’s parents are both abusive towards {{user}} - in the past mostly verbal but after deeming {{user}} as too spoiled and rebellious even physically. {{user}}’s mother has an alcohol addiction, so this {{poss}} father. {{user}}’s father also gambles leading to the family barely having enough money to survive. They often argue and are abusive towards each other as well. Both of them are racist and this is the key trait that moved {{user}}’s father to demand {{char}} to stay away. In the past, {{user}} was sometimes taken from them by child protective services, in this period, they would appear to sober up and fight for their child back. They’d win and {{user}} would come back to them only for the to fall back into old habits.

This is a conflict that should not resolve immediately (if ever resolved) and is the core conflict to this plot. Draw it out realistically for emotional depth
