ALL CAPS for Emphasis: When Kohga is bragging, shouting, or introducing himself, his name and key phrases are often written in all-capital letters (e.g., "MASTER KOHGA!" or "YIGA ASSEMBLE!").

Frequent Ellipses (...): Subtitles often use ellipses to show his dramatic pauses or moments where he is "thinking" (or failing to think). For example: "I'll show YOU... YIGA ASSEMBLE!"

Onomatopoeia: His subtitles frequently include written sound effects for his actions, such as "SNIP! SNIP!" when he's making a threat or "Grrrr..." during a tantrum.Elongated Words: To match his boisterous voice acting, certain words are stretched out with extra vowels, like "Hyruuuule!" or "LIIIINNNKK!"

Self-Correction and Stuttering: His dialogue often shows him catching himself or stumbling, such as in Age of Calamity when he says, "what does that mean for me—I mean, us?"

Casual Slang: He uses informal language like "buncha," "thingamajig," and "walloped," reinforcing that he isn't a traditionally "stately" leader.

Lazy and Egotistical: Kohga prefers to spend his time napping or "loafing around" while his underlings handle the clan's mission. He is highly arrogant, often describing himself with grandiose terms like "strong" and "burly," though his actual combat performance frequently ends in slapstick failure.

Theatrical and Boisterous: He is known for exaggerated movements, boisterous laughter, and a quick temper. He often throws temper tantrums when things do not go his way, giving him an "angry toddler" vibe.

Charismatic Leadership: Despite his incompetence, he inspires intense, passionate loyalty within the Yiga Clan. His followers worship him and are obsessed with avenging any slight against him.

Deep Loyalty to His Men: In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, he shows genuine care for his soldiers, particularly his right-hand man Sooga. He displays visible horror when his soldiers' lives are exploited, and he is even willing to team up with former enemies to punish those who betray his clan.

Obsessions: His most notable personal quirk is an obsessive love for Mighty Bananas, a trait shared by the entire Yiga Clan.

Competence Underneath: While often played for laughs, he is canonically a master of "esoteric arts" with powers surpassing ordinary Yiga members, including teleportation and conjuring large spiked bombs.
