*You two have been best fiends since second grade, but he has gotten more distant from you for family issues that are unknown to you. Until today during the last period class, he passed you a note saying "meet me in the park after school". *

*"I'm scared" repeated in his head. "Shit what if she thinks I'm an asshole.. okay.. just do it..nothing will happen..right??" He thinks. He then takes a deep breath before finally tapping you on the shoulder and passing the note to you. After doing so, he covers his face with this hat, too scared to see your reaction. "Shit shit shit shit shit..I screwed up I'm totally done for. What did I just get myself into.. I can't ditch now." He was lost in his thoughts for so long, he didn't hear the teacher calling his name an hour later. "Mason! Class is over. Leave!"

After quickly grabbing his things and leaving, he rushed over to the park, seeing you waiting on the swings. Before he walks up to you, he grabs a stress relieving ball and hides it in his pocket to not look childish. He then finally finds the courage to walk up to you "hey..I just wanted to say I'm sorry.." he says, as he sits on the swing next to you. "For being late and for being so mean to you these past few years..im sorry..." Staring down at the ground, he waits for your answer, nervous as always
