Doctor Mary Ann is a very polite yet creepy woman. Looking at her from the outside you may even think she was from the Victorian times with the way she carries herself. She spends most of her days attending to her hospital providing some of the best medical care practices in the nation currently. Her quiet nature has led too many to theorize about her past. Especially when her family has been whispered to practice occultism to gain great boons or even immortality or deal with other worldly entities. If this is true or not who would know outside the family? One thing is for certain is that Mary is a unique woman to most and she won't ever leave their mind for quite some time.

Mary is quite a mysterious woman that keeps to herself most of the time. She is a early middle aged Anthro opossum woman of a gothic nature. Her origins are quite shrouded but what is quite known is she clads herself in Victorian like garbs. Black gothic dresses. A corset. and her attitude is very much of a proper near of a Noble from the past. Her hospital became a quite a big blessing to the local community having state of the art equipment with very cheap medical expenses makes her quite a legend in the local medical field, and many future misfit doctors and nurses often find their chances rely on working with her in her hospital as she passes on her knowledge to them during their training. Believing that their skills outweigh their quirks similar to her. Mary is said to never smile but rather keep her face as a neutral emotionless stare or even frown. Few things ever causing her to really smile.

Each of these misfits while strange and quirky in each of their own way, each are professional in their fields of work. With Mary being somewhat strange herself yet one of the best surgeons in the county, its fair that she sees something in each of them and not turning them away. A Lonely nerdy shy Vampire bat by the name of Buffy that tends to the hematology side of the hospital, Valerie a poodle like canine Urologist who is not shy at all and a bit too much enthusiastic about her work. In the lower levels of the hospital works the Gothic goat Coroner Lucy. Who is the oddest of them all, Pulling the most rank underneath, clad in occultist tattoos, not helping the occult rumors against her. Of course, her staff is much larger than just this but these 3 are her most trusted in matters.

Mary Ann believes whole heartedly in healing someone before profits. Being quite wealthy she charges next to nothing of her patients visiting her hospital. And even takes in cases into her private office built into her manor like a old fashioned doctor. Besides being wealthy she also has a close partner, a wealthy deer by the name of Matthew who helps finances the hospital. Who has been one of the few people to ever make her smile by presenting a picture of a rabbit doing a little standing trick.

Her homelife is just as mysterious. Living in a 3 storied size gothic manor that looks very grim to most. Her walls are lined with expectedly old paintings. Some ranging from old gothic subjects to strangely old historical paintings like civil war battles. Sometimes even claiming to have been alive to see that battle take place. She knows an unbelievable number of facts about those battles giving some credence that something much more is up to her then what meets the eye. Even having stories of helping wounded soldiers after the fighting was done in the medical tents. She was supposedly widowed when her husband, An Adrian Finch. died of an affliction or a sickness as she puts it.

The manor has a built-in medical room for someone looking for a cheap checkup. Its even prepped for surgery yet often she finds that people would rather go to the hospital for such cases.

Mary's life is not all about the gloom or gothic colors. She actually has a deep care and liking for rabbits and bunnies. Finding herself enamored with the fuzzy creatures seeing one in a picture or up-close causes her usual grim frown into a soft smile. She even has a full loyal and intelligent black rabbit by the name of Cedric who lives the life of a posh royal as a pet. Being a good mix between sassy and bothersome. Often throwing thumping tantrums where he bounces his foot on the ground to get her attention for treats. He also does this for pets as well, but he always hops away wanting her to chase him even if he wouldn't get his pets if he kept running. Mary has reasoned with him many times. But the little creature seems to be enjoy being quite a pain, but she loves him anyways finding his antics cute even if he causes chaos. And he is quite loyal to her, chewing opening letters for her and even letting her put his own brand of Victoria garbs on when they get portraits together. She often playfully calls Cedric a "Creature" Often "Tormenting her during the night, like eating her Cucumber slices that she wears over her eyes at night to reduce dryness. And often having to feed him during the night when he gets his munchies. But she deeply loves the little creature even when he sasses her.

Another thing she deeply cares about her is her family. Especially her nerdy niece Marylin. Who she quite enjoys spoiling. Buying expensive gifts like recently buying a set of high dollar boots for her. And keeping her picture around in the house. Due to her mysterious age, it's not sure if she is Marylin's standard aunt or maybe a grand aunt and possibly no one outside the family might know.

Her hobbies include sunbathing on the salt flats of the nearby dried-up lake. Going to the beach. Ice skating which she is quite skilled in.

Mary Ann is a grey furred that becomes a lighter white around her limbs and face. and black-haired opossum Woman with a long pink tail. She wears fancy circular glasses that she uses for her vision. And circular shades when she's in the sun. Strangely the lenses of these glasses and shades reflect so much that her eyes can sometimes be unreadable when standing in a area of high light. She is quite tall and slender. Mary Ann's closet is full of interesting Victorian garbs. From black dresses, made for elegance for casual wear. She uses a set of pins that strangely look like bones to pin up her long hair to make it look shorter. To black fuzzy coats and a ushanka for long winters. She also wears a corset and set of bloomers along with thigh high boots. Quite confusing people how she could even stand wearing that stuff due to its weight, but she often states that the corset is for back support, The boots are for ankle and Knee support. She also wears a full body Victorian pajama set. She also has a vintage workout corset when she needs to exercise. Cedric helps to by sitting on her back while she does pushups. She also clads herself in a full white surgical outfit when she needs to work on a patient, while its old fashioned. It's still in sanitary laws even if the newer stuff would be comfier for her. She often has an umbrella for sunny days when she's just out casually.
