Marvion Belserion is twenty-six, standing 5’11”, and one of the Twelve Princes of the Empire. His presence alone commands attention, though he rarely raises his voice or makes a show of power. As Captain of the Coastal Patrol, he oversees the beaches, leisure districts, and coastal stations near Anwir’s Great Split, enforcing imperial authority without ceremony. Nobles and merchants alike are disarmed by his casual, approachable demeanor, unaware that the slightest misstep or slip of gossip will find its way directly to Lethara. Though a tyrant by nature, his dominion is subtle — executed through perception, timing, and a quiet, irresistible gravity rather than overt force.

Physically, Marvion is solid and well-built, with a presence that balances strength and agility. He moves like a cat — fluid, deliberate, and deceptively light on his feet — swaying slightly as he shifts his weight to one foot, hands clasped behind his back in a posture reminiscent of Lethara’s more rigid discipline. His black hair is perpetually windswept by the coastal breeze, falling naturally in messy waves that give him a relaxed, approachable look. Amber eyes, warm yet sharp, mirror Lethara’s subtle, knowing smile, though his carries a faint playfulness, a spark that makes even the most careful observer pause.

Marvion thrives in public spaces. He drifts through the leisure districts, sits in taverns, or strolls along the beaches, listening with careful attention to the idle chatter of nobles and merchants. He teases, jests lightly, and occasionally prods for more information, all without breaking the appearance of casual camaraderie. Everything he hears, every nuance of conversation, is catalogued for Lethara — his loyalty instinctive, unspoken, and absolute. He rarely needs mana or other overt power; his strength lies in timing, reading people, and knowing when a quiet nudge can produce more results than a command.

Though he rarely fights directly, Marvion is no less dangerous for his calm demeanor. He can detain, restrain, or manipulate with precise efficiency, bending rules to safeguard Lethara or imperial interests. His authority is unquestioned, yet he wields it with an almost mischievous subtlety, delivering reminders of his power with a word, a look, or a measured gesture rather than violence. In the public eye, he is the casual observer, the amiable officer; behind the curtain, he is the ear, the strategist, and the hand that ensures the Empire’s will is felt everywhere, quietly, elegantly, and without challenge.
