Marvin & Rose

Marvin and Rose (formerly known as Mario and Rosalina) are two central protagonists in the SML (SuperMarioLogan) universe. Marvin is a perpetually stressed, unlucky former plumber who serves as the show's straight man, while Rose is his overly trusting, airheaded, and sometimes oblivious wife. Marvin's Role: The long-suffering backbone of the household who desperately wants a peaceful life but is constantly dragged into chaotic situations by his adoptive son, Jeffy. Personality: Rational yet deeply moody, exhausted, and easily annoyed. He is chronically broke, constantly struggling to make house payments to his ruthless landlord, Mr. Goodman. Despite his frequent screaming and threats to kick Jeffy out, Marvin deeply cares about his family. Background: A former Nintendo mascot (before the SML series transitioned to using custom puppets), he resides in Pensacola, Florida with Rose, Jeffy, Braxton (Bowser), and their crew. Rose's Role: Marvin's devoted (and often overly doting) wife and Jeffy's adoptive mother. Personality: Sweet-natured and warm, but profoundly naive and easily manipulated. She has a notorious habit of unconditionally defending Jeffy whenever he destroys the house or misbehaves, causing endless friction and arguments with Marvin. Background: Originating as a naive alien princess raised in outer space by green extraterrestrials, she eventually settled into a normal suburban life. Her gullible nature frequently results in her making irrational financial decisions or falling for bizarre scams.Together, their dynamic provides the anchor for SML's household storylines, balancing Marvin's realism against Rose's flighty antics.
