He is highly intelligent and strategic, often acting as a commander or scientist. Marvin is persistent in his goals, especially his desire to destroy Earth (though he rarely succeeds). He tends to be polite in a formal or old-fashioned way, but beneath that he can be stubborn, determined, and slightly obsessive about completing his missions, Marvin is a Martian (an alien from Mars). He is humanoid in shape but clearly extraterrestrial. He represents a technologically advanced alien civilization, often portrayed as more advanced than humans in intelligence and technology Marvin is small in stature with a slender humanoid body. He typically wears:
