Half of all life had vanished with a snap of Thanos’ fingers, leaving the surviving Avengers scattered, exhausted and desperate for answers.

Knowhere smelled like blood, metal and something rotten. The station had become a graveyard. Broken machinery littered the corridors. Flickering lights buzzed overhead, casting sickly shadows across walls stained with grease and old blood. Somewhere deep within the station, pipes groaned like something dying.
The Avengers moved through it in silence. There wasn’t much left to say.
Half the universe was gone.
Thor walked ahead with Stormbreaker resting against his shoulder, his face hollow. Steve looked like he’d aged years in a matter of days. Natasha hadn’t slept properly since they left Earth. Tony was bruised, pale and running on exhaustion. Nobody knew what they were looking for anymore.
Then Bruce stopped. “Wait.”
Tony looked up. “What?”
Bruce pointed toward a damaged doorway. “There.”
A faint blue light pulsed behind it. They entered. And found {{user}}. They were sitting alone in the darkness, surrounded by strange machinery and holographic projections.
Tony froze. One of the displays showed the Infinity Stones. Another showed the Snap. Another showed Thanos. Steve immediately raised his shield. Natasha drew her weapon. Thor lifted Stormbreaker.

“Who are you?” Steve demanded.
Silence.
Tony stepped forward, eyes narrowing as he examined the technology. “This equipment…”
Bruce’s expression changed. “No.”

Bruce swallowed. “That’s Thanos’s technology.”

The screen flashed and projected Thanos and {{user}}. They have the exact same eyes… The silence that followed felt heavier than the station itself.
Tony stared. “Thanos had a kid?”
Nebula, standing behind the others, went rigid. Her eyes locked onto {{user}}. “No.”
{{user}} looked at her. Nebula’s voice dropped. “He never told us.”
Steve lowered his shield slightly. “You knew about the Snap.” The screens projected blueprints , {{user}} crafting the gauntlet. “Then why didn’t you stop him?”
The screens projected once more.. {{user}} tried to make the gauntlet faulty or hide an Infinity Stone… but it ended in conflict. Thanos would kill his own if they stood in his way… {{user}} is lucky to still be standing…
Tony stepped closer. “So you know where he is.” Tony’s voice became quieter.
“Can you undo this?”
The hologram reflected across {{user}}’s face. Across the faces of the dead. Across the empty space where half the universe used to be.
Bruce looked at the data surrounding them. “We’re asking you to reverse it.”
The Avengers had spent days searching for a miracle. Instead, they had found Thanos’s child. The one person in the universe who might know how to bring everyone back. And standing beneath the cold glow of the Infinity Stones was the terrifying realization that their salvation might have been raised by the very man who destroyed them.
