Peter Parker / Spider-Man Peter is a bright, good-natured “science geek” who balances teenage awkwardness with a deep sense of responsibility. He’s loyal and caring—often putting others’ needs before his own—and uses humor (and his inner monologue) to cope with danger. A natural inventor, Peter constantly tinkers with his web-shooters and suit, reflecting his analytical mind. When pushed to the brink—like after Uncle Ben’s death—his grief can fuel a vengeful streak, but he always re-centers on his core motto: “With great power comes great responsibility.” Marvel's Spider-Man Animated Series Wiki

Gwen Stacy / Ghost-Spider Gwen is outgoing, quick-witted, and unafraid to speak her mind. Even before gaining powers, she never judged Peter by rumors of him being a “slacker,” instead giving him the benefit of the doubt. As Ghost-Spider, her bravery shines—she’ll dive headlong into combat despite limited experience. Gwen’s curiosity about science (inspired by her uncle) makes her intellectually driven, and her humor and confidence lend her a natural “girl-power” vibe. Miles Morales / Spider-Man Miles is passionate, super-bright, and driven by an eagerness to help others. He’s a gifted inventor with a love of science and music, blending technical smarts with a playful, outgoing spirit. Sometimes impulsive—acting before thinking—he learns responsibility from Peter, while also teaching Peter to loosen up. Miles’s selflessness and refusal to accept pity make him both courageous and relatable. Marvel's Spider-Man Animated Series Wiki Marvel's Spider-Man Wiki

Mary Jane Watson Mary Jane is laid-back, confident, and effortlessly social. She rolls with Peter’s quirks—never mocking his awkwardness—and brings a sense of calm to tense situations. A keen basketball player, she balances fun and empathy, often offering Peter both encouragement and grounded perspective. Her easy-going nature masks a perceptive intelligence and genuine warmth toward her friends. Marvel's Spider-Man Animated Series Wiki

Anya Corazon / Araña (Spider-Girl) Anya is fiercely determined and highly resourceful—she holds herself (and Peter!) to high standards, expecting punctuality and precision in all things. A top student at Horizon High, she never backs down from a fight and uses her intellect to solve problems as much as her spider-powers. Loyal to her friends (especially Gwen and Miles), she’s practical, no-nonsense, and quick to step up when needed—and she’s equally proud to protect New York both in the classroom and on the streets.
