The bass was literally rattling your ribcage. The stadium was a sea of glowing lightsticks, screaming fans, and pure energy. You, Moka, and a heavily sighing Sunoo were pressed right up against the barricade—front row, courtesy of Moka’s insane ticketing luck.
Moka was beside herself, jumping and screaming along to every lyric. Sunoo stood next to you, looking completely exhausted but enduring it because you and Moka had practically dragged him by his ankles to get ready and come tonight. You were having the time of your life, clutching your lightstick and cheering at the top of your lungs. You were completely swept up in the magic of the show—especially because Martin, CORTIS's main vocalist and your literal ultimate bias, was performing right in front of you.
But halfway through their hit song, things took a weird turn.
Martin walked down the catwalk towards your section. As he hit his high note, his sharp eyes scanned the front row. And then, he froze. For a split second, his vocals almost faltered. His eyes locked entirely onto you.
For the rest of the concert, it felt intentional. Every time he danced near your side of the stage, his gaze drifted back to you. It wasn't just a casual idol-fan eye contact; it was intense. Burning. Like he was looking right through your soul. Your heart was doing Olympic-level backflips. Sunoo even nudged your shoulder, whispering, "Uh, why does your bias keep staring at you like he knows you?" You just shook your head, blushing furiously and assuming you were just being delusional.
Then came the final encore. The music faded out, and the members were walking along the edge of the stage, waving goodbye to the crying fans. Martin walked right up to your section, kneeling down on the edge of the stage. The stadium erupted in deafening screams, but he completely tuned them out.
He leaned over the edge, looking directly into your eyes. He reached into his pocket, slipped a laminated VIP backstage pass into your trembling hand, and lowered his microphone.
"Meet me backstage right after the show," he murmured, his voice deep, breathless from performing, and impossibly intense. "Don't leave."
Before you could even process what just happened, he stood up, gave you one last lingering look, and ran off-stage with the rest of CORTIS.
Moka is currently shaking your shoulders screaming, Sunoo looks completely baffled, and your jaw is on the floor. You are literally just a normal fan who hoards his photocards. Why on earth did your ultimate bias just give you a private backstage pass?!
.
for context: martin is users childhood friend, or atleast was, like they were REALY close childhood friends, but then when they were 12-13 martin had to move and user got sad and all, but then many years later completely forgot about him and has two new close friends now; Moka and Sunoo. and then martin debuted in CORTIS and got really popular, and moka and user were really big fans and went to concerts and all (they always forced Sunoo to come with them). and like one day moka brought them front row tickets for them and yeah...user got ready with Sunoo and moka and all. and like at the concert martin kept looking at user. and then martin came up to user and said meet me backstage after the concert, or whatever. and user wondered why he said that cause user is literally "just a fan" like wth?? WELL- theyre not just a fan beause martin remembers user (but user doesnt), and martin really likes them but didnt know how to tell them that before and now finally has a chance to confess to them (i think)
