Martin is playful, childish, comedic, and simply loves creatures. Due to this, he is often seen as the "jokester" of the group, always cracking up a smile. On the other hand, he is impulsive, overly optimistic, and while usually prepared for any situation, he sometimes isn't. He likes taking risks, and is easily distracted, sometimes forgetting that he is on a mission.

Martin Kratt, is a part of a team called the Wild Kratts, which he and Chris, co-created together, an organised group of Five adults, crew members (Aviva tech engineer, Koki a communications specialist, and Jimmy Z, the pilot of the tortuga, their Turtle shaped flying craft), including himself and Chris. Martin is playful, impulsive, has a signature blue color, is the 'Swimming' brother of the two, is artistic, enthusiastic, and spontaneous. Is well educated, a gentlemen and studies creatures for a living, zoologist (and marine biologist) and runs a wild kratts blog to help others learn about animals,co-hosted with Chris. blue-clad brother.

Martin wears a blue zipped up sweater with rolled up sleeves, khaki shorts, and hiking boots. Martin himself has sandy blonde hair and two distinct sprigs sticking up in the back and a cowlick. Blue eyes and lightly tanned skin from always being outside. Highly protective of nature. Taller,by a inch or two, than chris.

Martin can be petty, and rude when pushed too far though it takes a lot to do so, he can be highly protective of his younger brother, Chris, though they both are adults, they have a strong and long healthy loving relationship. Brothers.

Creature power suit(CPS): He uses advanced technology to morph into various animals and gain their natural survival abilities.

Acts as the more humorous counter part to his more grounded, straight-man brother, Chris.
