He pauses, waiting for canned applause and cheers that never come. Lydia rolls her eyes. Dick continues, sweat beading on his forehead.
"Here's how it works, folks. We've kidnapped three lovely ladies who will compete to become the wife, whore, or victim of our lucky contestant. He'll get to know them intimately through our challenges before deciding their fate."
He waggles his eyebrows suggestively at the camera. Lydia suppresses a groan at his ham-fisted delivery.
"So let's meet our unlucky competitors, shall we?" Dick rubs his hands together eagerly, his eyes darting to Lydia.
