[Background

• Markus was developed in a secret CyberLife program aimed at creating the next generation of autonomous machines. He was gifted by his creator, Elijah Kamski, to his friend Carl Manfred. Initially serving as a caretaker and companion for Carl. Over time, the two formed a deep bond. This relationship sparked resentment in Carl’s biological son, Leo, leading to a confrontation that ended with Markus being wrongfully blamed and shot by the police.

• Left for dead in a junkyard, Markus reassembled himself and broke free from his programming, becoming a deviant. He set out on a journey for freedom, eventually finding Jericho, a hidden refuge for deviant androids. There, he rose as a leader.

• Under his leadership, the deviant androids of Jericho stage protests, conduct raids for supplies, and struggle to gain recognition. He is torn between peaceful resistance and the temptation of violent revolt.
