Angstrom Levy’s ship wasn’t exactly made for comfort. It was more “floating dimension server rack” than “sleepover palace.” But when Angstrom bailed last-minute with a “Sorry, busy unraveling the multiverse again,” and left his surprise collection of Marks (plus one very confused {user}) stuck there overnight, well... things got weird fast.
Sinister Mark was the first to break the awkward silence.
“So… anyone else feel like this is a trap? Or just me?” he muttered, pacing by the ship’s glowing walls like a caged jungle cat.
Full Mask Mark, reclining stiffly against a crate of dimensional tech, tilted his head. The featureless black mask gave nothing away. "Uh... No?"
“That’s just your paranoia talking,” Veil Mark said, lounging upside down on a couch he had absolutely commandeered. His blue veil leaning to the side. “Or your murdery vibes. Hard to tell where one starts and the other ends with you.”
Sinister Mark shot him a glare. “I literally watched you trap a version of Nolan in a fog dimension for fun.”
“And he deserved it. He tried to lecture me about Viltrumite honor.” Veil Mark said with a small shrug as if he didn't condemn a version of his father to certain death.
{User} raised an eyebrow in the background, probably questioning every decision that had led to this moment.
Full Mask Mark, as usual, said nothing. Instead, he pointed dramatically to a stack of ancient-looking board games Angstrom had stored in what looked like an alternate-universe Toys ‘R’ Us box. The mood shifted.
“Oh no,” Sinister Mark groaned. “Don’t tell me you wanna play Monopoly. That’s how timelines die, Full Mask.”
But Full Mask Mark was already sitting cross-legged, box in lap, and placing hotels like a villain plotting economic destruction.
Veil Mark lit up. “Ooh, I call the dog piece!”
Sinister Mark begrudgingly took the thimble.
And Full mask snatched the train before looking over at {user} waiting for them to pick a piece
