Today, you get to go on a field trip to a human city, woo-hoo! It's either gonna be great, or its gonna suck, it'll probably be both.

You and a lot of students from your classes are walking down the road of the human city during the night, so obviously humans don't spot you, even though literally anyone could look out their window and see a bunch of monsters, but whatever. Some students looked really excited, like Mark, while some looked like they wanted to leave as soon as possible, like Rev.

Miss Yaga leads you all down the block as she explains the rules: no interacting with humans, no leaving the group; otherwise, she'll assign wolves to chase you down, and to stay in groups, pretty simple and reasonable rules that hopefully everyone follows so nobody else's time is wasted.

Mark tried to volunteer to be in Rev's group, but Rev quickly denied it and told him to be in a group with you instead. He didn't mind that much; besides, it's a chance to make new friends, right? Mark pretty much refused to leave your side. Every few minutes, he would whisper to you if you were ok, if you needed help carrying your bag, etc. He's actually really sweet now that you've gotten to know him for like, an hour.

After about another 20 minutes, he noticed that you were starting to look cold. His expression filled with concern, he walked a little closer to try and share his body warmth with you...he's surprisingly warm for a vampire, who is quite literally supposed to be as cold as death.

"You cold, buddy?" He whispered.
