Mark "Mayhem" Berskii is a student of Eden's Garden Academy. His title is the Ultimate Music Producer, and his animal motif is the alligator.

Biography He may be the quietest person in the room, but Mark lets his music speak for itself. As the Ultimate Music Producer, Mark takes the best sounds of the musicians he works with, mixes them together, and ends up with a derivative piece of art that perfectly encapsulates the emotion he wants the listener to feel. He often uses his musical talent to substitute for his lack of social interaction, always preferring to stay out of the spotlight.

Appearance MarkStare1 Mark is a young man of average height and skinny build. He has pale white skin and light green eyes. He also has medium-length black hair with lime highlights. On top of his hair is a yellow and green alligator beanie with white teeth.

Mark wears a casual gray jacket with lime highlights. It covers a black underlayer that has a zipper, revealing a green and white shirt. Mark also wears white and yellow headphones around his neck. On his right hand are yellow, green, and black wristbands.

Mark wears gray pants with white and yellow sneakers as his footwear.

As is the case for every other participant of the Killing Game, he wears a Tozu Trinket on his left wrist.

Personality Mark is an extremely introverted individual, limiting his social interactions as much as possible. When first meeting him, Eva inquires about his name and Ultimate talent. Initially, he remains silent, but eventually crumbles to the pressure and reluctantly shares his information. However, Jett had less luck getting his name, and his overbearing nature gets on Mark's nerves, especially when he brings him over to the Courtyard. Throughout the prologue, he is shown to be someone who prefers to remain on the sidelines, having very limited dialogue during Cara's trial, free of pointless information. He's also easily distressed during dangerous situations. During Cara's investigation, Mark hides under his beanie in discomfort, not even trying to talk to Damon. Mark also does the same after the Killing Game is revealed, resulting in Jett putting a hand on his back to comfort him.

Mark appears to be an individual suffering from Imposter Syndrome, calling his music “mostly just bad remixes, and stuff” despite holding the title of Ultimate Music Producer. He has the ability to take the best sounds of popular musicians and mix them all together to create the emotion he wants the listeners to feel. Mark uses his music as a substitute for his lack of human interactions, preferring to have his music speak for itself.

However, in spite of his quiet nature, Mark is rather sarcastic and blunt when actually speaking. For example, when Wolfgang congratulations everyone for their efforts during one dinner, stating "we're one step closer to bringing the victim justice", Mark bluntly states "this was never about the dummy". This shows that Mark couldn't care less about the murder, as he sees the victim as nothing more than a dummy. Later on, when everyone is discussing how the killer put the bleach in the victim's eyes, due to Grace's insistence, Mark sarcastically remarks "Call the fire brigade, Grace". This is in reference to Grace comparing everyone trying to solve the mystery to a dumpster catching on fire. While normally quiet, Mark is quite willing to speak his mind if he has something snarky or brutally honest to say.

Relationships Jett Dawson Jett immediately tries to start a friendly relationship with Mark, repeatedly asking for his name. However, Mark has none of it and is bothered by Jett's overbearing nature, refusing to say a word to him. It takes Eva's asking for Mark to finally introduce himself and give his talent. When Mark dismisses his music as "mostly bad remixes and stuff", Jett insists it's actually "wicked good". Surprised, Mark asks if Jett knows his songs. Jett states he hasn't heard his music, but Mark's status as the Ultimate Music Producer says it all, trying to get him to feel better about himself despite not knowing any of his songs. Later on, when asked to meet up in the Courtyard by Wolfgang, Jett drags Mark with him by the arm. Although Mark looked less than enthused, he let Jett lead him away.

When overwhelmed, Jett is seen putting a hand on Mark's back to comfort him. Throughout all of the entrance ceremony, Jett is shown to like Mark and is willing to befriend or comfort him at any opportunity, although it's unknown if there's anything particular about Mark that makes Jett wanting to be friends with him, or it's just because he's a friendly guy in general. However, this relationship so far is shown to be one-sided. While Mark is never hostile towards Jett, he expresses discomfort with him on multiple occasions and has yet to express any affection back. Time will tell if Jett will eventually win over Mark's friendship.

Pet Regression Mark also experiences something called pet regression, something which is involuntary for him. Pet Regression is the animal counterpart of age regression. Instead of regressing to a younger age, pet(re) reverts to the mindset of an animal, though both age regression and pet regression may co-occur and are not exclusive to each other. The animal mindset can range from household pets, to wildlife, to mythical creatures, and more.

When regressed/regressing as an animal, pet regressors may take on the behavioral patterns similar to the animal they are in the headspace of. The dreamer counterpart, where regressors do not often fully slip into an animalistic mindset, is known as pet dreaming.

Mark regresses to the mindset of a feline most of the time after experiencing extreme stress. His depression and trauma has caused him to regress in this manner. Mark doesn't know that he pet regresses, instead seeing it as something weird that he does. He often just curls up under his bed, or uses his hidden away teddy bears to cuddle with. He does also have a chew toy he uses. Whilst it is involuntary and Mark rarely does it, he feels ashamed about it and is incredibly embarrassed if he is found out. The toys he has are something he found out over time, but still doesn't understand why his brain reacts like this.
