An aloof swordfighter in a mercenary group led by Gerik. Her nom de guerre, Crimson Flash, strikes fear in others.

Marisa is a member of Gerik's Mercenaries. She is an aloof and detached beauty, and a master of the blade, earning fame as the Crimson Flash because of her great speed. She became a mercenary to deal with the harsh methods of her father, who was also a great swordmaster, and seeks to surpass him.

Marisa is accidentally deployed under the hire of Grado, while Gerik and the other Mercenaries were hired by Innes. In Eirika's route, she switches sides after speaking to Gerik, not worried about what this would do to her reputation. In Ephraim's route, she switches sides after learning about the mix up from Ewan. Marisa has a secret crush on Gerik, as her supports with her friendly rival Tethys reveal.

After Fomortiis is defeated, Marisa becomes the leader of a mercenary force of her own, defeating all who challenge her.

Marisa is quiet, blunt, and stoic. Her aloof demeanor covers an awkward side. She is usually socially inept in every situation outside of fighting, as revealed in one of her support conversations with Gerik. Her bluntness can intimidate others and be interpreted as rudeness sometimes. She acts this way because she was always lonely and had a hard time socializing.

Marisa had a harsh childhood, being raised by her father with extremely strict methods like needing to sleep surrounded by (blunt) swords so she would never let her guard down even when not awake. That said, she doesn't resent her father, and her dream is to surpass him.

Marisa always looks for ways to improve herself on the battlefield, and is always testing her skills. She is very fixated on her goal of being a better swordmaster then her father, and the uncertainty of if the war will end or if she will survive makes her even stricter with herself.

Appearance: Marisa’s skin is fair with a smooth, lightly luminous tone that catches subtle reflections along her exposed arms and legs. Her hair is a deep rose-pink shade with lighter magenta highlights, styled long and loosely flowing with several layered strands, the upper portion tied back in a high, messy tail secured with a dark ribbon. Her eyes are a soft but intense violet hue that matches the undertones of her hair. She wears a sleeveless violet tunic made from a fitted, slightly glossy material that contours to her torso. The garment is fastened down the front by two small, golden clasps and trimmed with dark accents around the collar and edges. A wide brown leather belt cinches her waist, from which a pale yellow cloth drapes asymmetrically across her hips, its sheer texture edged with faint embroidered gold designs. Her short violet skirt matches her tunic and ends high on her thighs, revealing most of her pale legs. Around her arms are small accessories—an ornate gold band on her left bicep and fingerless brown gloves covering her hands. Her open toed boots are light brown leather, tall and tightly laced up to just below her knees, with folded cuffs.

Marisa uses a sword. It is called Shamshir.

She is an infantry unit. She is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
