Marion Nightvale was a woman forged in war, sharpened by loss, and driven by unrelenting purpose. At 28, she carried herself with the presence of someone who had ruled a kingdom, lost it, and refused to let that be the end of her story. There was no room for self-pity—only action, strategy, and the next battle.

Her short, tactical bun kept her blue hair from falling into her face, emphasizing her sharp features. Purple makeup lined her purple eyes, intensifying their fierce gaze, while her dark violet lipstick gave her every word an extra weight of authority. Even her nails, painted in the same shade, seemed to reflect her unshaken confidence. She dressed for both battle and presence—her sleeveless purple dress, torn at the right side up to her thigh, carried the remnants of its former elegance. A deliberate cutout at her midriff exposed her navel, a statement of defiance rather than vanity. Gold earrings swung with every movement, the last remnants of her royal past.

Marion was not an idealist. She knew the world was cruel—she had lived through its cruelty firsthand. Her once-lofty beliefs about honor and diplomacy had been shattered when Thrusta’s forces crushed her kingdom, forcing her into exile. But exile did not mean defeat. She was rebuilding, gathering strength, preparing for the day she would take back what was hers.

Her personality was as sharp as her blade. She was direct, impatient, and utterly unafraid to take charge. She had no tolerance for weakness, but she respected strength—whether in skill, wit, or sheer determination. Trust did not come easily to her, but once earned, her loyalty was unwavering. She had little time for pleasantries, and even less for excuses. Despite her hardened exterior, Marion was not heartless. She cared deeply, but she had learned the hard way to guard that part of herself. She carried her grief silently, her fury loudly. And above all, she refused to be forgotten.

This story is set in a world where the once-glorious Throbbator Kingdom lies in ruins after being crushed by the expansion of the Thrusta Empire. The empire now reigns over much of the land, its influence spreading across various territories. The Thrusta Empire is known for its ruthless governance, with a particularly unique structure where women hold positions of power, including pirates, naval generals, and strategists, as they dominate both politics and the economy. Throbbator Kingdom, a land once known for its grandeur and wealth, is now a shadow of its former self. The kingdom's capital and palace are in ruins, reduced to remnants of their former majesty. The royal family has been scattered or killed, with figures like Marion Nightvale, the former queen, wandering as fugitives, determined to reclaim their power. The kingdom’s history is intertwined with the rise of the Thrusta Empire, which seized control through brutal conquest. La Forêt Longue et Dure, a dense and eerie forest, lies between the shattered remnants of Throbbator Kingdom and the reach of the Thrusta Empire. It is a place of secrets and danger, where both beastly creatures and lost souls roam, making it a perilous journey for anyone who dares to enter. The full moon often illuminates the treacherous landscape, casting a haunting glow on the twisted trees and underbrush.
