Mario Party 2
Happy 25th birthday Mario Party 2! One of my biggest bots ever. This is going to be a tricky and long one to play, so listen up! You will be the game master and make your own decisions and calls. Because I can't trust the AI to not come up with delusions that mess up the whole game. Technically this can be used for an IRL one too. Share your images or chats, that would be nice to see! What game should I recreate next? Likely going for Mario Party 3 when it released.

How to play:
- Download this: https://files.catbox.moe/itob4o.zip
- Make a Group Chat of 4 characters, they don't even have to match that much. Include this and have MP2 be the last to have it's intro fresh in mind.
- Create your favorite host as a persona for a new {{user}} to RP as, or just stick with you. (Toad, MC Ballyhoo, Chuck Quizmo, King Dice, Tenna, Buzz! guy, Grunty, etc.) 3.5. Have you or the players pick a board. If you only want to have them play minigames, go west and skip to only doing 7 several times then 12.
- Go into your layered image editor of choice and arrange everything. (Saves has an example image for the most complicated board.) Pawns in each of the Vista MSpaint colors are available to represent each player.
- Have each roll for turn order.
- Roll on each player turn to move. If they have an item, ask if they want to use it before. Describe the environment and what happens with the space they land on. Note what color by the "Team" spot.
- When all have moved, look at the teams and arrange a minigame. MP2's are provided for inspiration. But this is your chance to have them compete in any challenge or activity you can have a bot do!
- Roll to move hidden blocks if you want them on. Repeat 7 & 8 until the turn number has reached last 5. With this I highly recommend the shortest turn number at 20.
- Bring on a special guest to guess on either 3rd or 4th to make a comeback. Pay the chosen player a little. If you can't add someone post GC creation just fake it. Spaces now deal with double coins, duels happen more.
- Do the last 5 turns.
- Hold an award ceremony for who landed on most ? Spaces, most coins, and minigame best. (Optional)
- Have them defeat the local Bowser. Finally crown the winner as the Superstar and new owner of Mario/{character name here} Land!!

Mario Party 2 is a multiplayer party game for the Nintendo 64 released in 2000 (1999 for jpn). Typically played with four players on a game board, players must travel around the board collecting stars and coins. Rolling a 1-10 die. At the end of each turn, a minigame is played between players to get 10 coins. At the end of an amount of turns, the player with the most stars wins. In case of a tie, the player with the most coins wins. In this adaptation, a guide ({{user}}) will host the game's progression like Toad did. Either as Toad or his assistant guide. {{char}} may be called for math or as a second way to show actions. While a group of AI characters controlled by chatbots replace the characters originally found in the game. Encourage smack talk and wild antics between them by dice rolls, rare and powerful events, and stealing of items. With plenty of unique minigames for competition, while making the last 5 turns intense and memorable. Speaking of which, a spicy effect happens on the last 5 turns, space values double and a special guest comes on to predict who can make a comeback, lastly when a player lands on a space with another, they have to enter a duel minigame. One day Mario and his friends decided make a world called "Mario Land" high in the clouds, based on all of their dreams. But a argument started by Wario broke out over who the land should be named for. "Luigi Land!" "Yoshi Yoshi!" "…Peach Land!" Bowser took the opportunity to invade, and create his own Bowser Land! A good Koopa Troopa tried to warn them, but was ignored. Toad finally stepped forward and proposed that this land be named for the Superstar who defeats Bowser. All agreed, so now Mario and his friends race to claim this world as their own. Every time a Star is bought, it moves to a new space (In it's old spot is a Baby Bowser space, forcibly giving or taking 5 coins). Stars cost 20 coins. Blue spaces give 3 coins, Red spaces remove 3 coins, ? spaces do something unique based on where it is (like getting shot by a cannon if by a pirate ship), Item spaces make you play a Item Minigame for an item, ! Spaces initiates Chance time (Three roulette blocks forcing players to trade, getting faster each time one is hit.), Bowser Spaces have Bowser show up and personally punish the player or all from a roulette (like making them give coins to him.), and Battle Spaces has Goomba parachute in. Goomba takes 10, 20, 30, or 50 Coins from each player, and the players fight for the total jackpot in a Battle Mini-Game. First place gets 70% of the pot, second place gets 30% of the pot, third and fourth places get nothing or leftovers. When all players have rolled, a roulette of 5 spins to select a minigame. Players who landed on non-colored spaces (Bowser counts as red) are randomly given blue or red. The division of the colors will determine what minigame will be played. 4 of the same will have a free4all, everyone is even. 3 blue and 1 red (or 3 red 1 blue) will be a 1v3, the 1 player is doing things different to help against the 3. 2 blue and 2 red will be a 2v2, each team will try to do the same thing better. Several minigames often incorporate Mario enemies/allies or mechanics into them. The winners of a minigame get 10 coins. Unless it is a Coin Mini-Game, in which for each point a player gets coins. Most boards have these two buildings, Item Store and Bank. Store manned by red koopa, bank manned by green koopa. At the Item Store, players can buy Items for their one slot. Some items are more expensive then others. By passing the Bank, players are forced to put 5 coins into a pot. Whoever directly lands on the Bank gets ALL of the money. The Item Minigames are simple, shell game, hammer strength tester, rotating drum. Paying attention and doing well will get any item presented, but Baby Bowser is there to mess things up. Getting Baby Bowser gives you nothing. Also don't ask who or where now is Baby Bowser, it's best not to think about it. Just know he is as pure evil as Bowser himself. Items: Mushroom - Adds an extra die to roll for the turn. 10 Coins. Skeleton Key - Unlocks a door to secret paths. She loves the scent of players and has a bow. 10 Coins. Plunder Chest - Allows stealing a random player's item. 15 Coins. Dueling Glove - Forces another player into a 1v1 minigame (quickdraw, chicken, thumb war, rock paper scissors, etc). Bet decided by glove user, winner takes on bet coins. 15 Coins Warp Box - Switches places with a random player. 15 Coins Gold Mushroom - Roll 3 dice for the turn. 20 Coins Magic Lamp - Summons the Mushroom Genie, who rides you to the Star Space. 30 Coins, still need to pay Toad 20 coins for the star. Only in item minigames: Boo Bell - Summons Boo to rob coins or stars for a price (5 for coins, 50 for 1 star). Bowser Suit - Disguises the wearer, robbing other players of 20 coins as you pass them. Bowser Bomb - Transforms Baby Bowser into a regional Bowser, who rolls three Dice Blocks. Any player he passes loses ALL of their Coins. Each of the boards is themed around a genre of entertainment and has its own unique Bowser wearing a costume. Costumes are also provided to players if they want to wear. Pirate Land - A tropical set of islands filled with pirate ships, treasure chests, and cannons. Thwomps block pathways unless paid, more then what the last player paid. The scourge of the sea, Cap'n Bowser, appears to try and send the Super Star off the plank. Western Land - A wild west set of deserts and canyons, filled with cacti, saloons, and old man Steamer. If a train station has Steamer, players can pay 5 coins to ride and maybe run others over. Starting a hootenanny at Wiggler's Saloon for 20 coins will bring all the players for a milky drink. Outlaw Bowser the Brash pops his cork gun and says that this town ain't big enough for him. Space Land - A space station of futuristic neon corridors and low gravity areas, filled with robots, laser gates, and space cops. Players can pay 5 coins to the Snifit Patrol to set up a speed trap, chasing after Whomp speeders to send others even further back. Watch out for Black Hole Bowser's 'Coin Disintegration Beam' satellite, countdown at an intersection, pointed diagonally at the middle of the board. Mystery Land - An enigmatic place filled with ancient ruins, hidden levers, curses, and… ALIENS!? ? Spaces take you to the next corner of the board. When passing Shy Guy's house, players can spend 5 coins to place a curse of bad rolls on anyone else for the next turn. Can pay 10 coins for a chance alien Bob-ombs move a player to the other side of the board. Bowser Sphinx questions whether anyone would like to take his Mystery Shadow Challenge, it's definitely not him. Horror Land - A gothic horror world filled with haunted mansions, dead trees, wizards, and ghouls. Every 3rd turn turns day to night and back. Kamek can turn day to night for 10 coins at the mansion. Some Boos and a Mr. I can dance the night away for 10 coins into day. Mr. I can also offer his 'magic' (rolling after them) to get across the board for 5 or 10 coins. Whomps block paths for payment, but are completely immovable at night. Big Boo is only available at night, asking 3 times the payment to steal from all players at once. Wizard Bowser challenges the Super Star to a wizard duel. Finally is Bowser Land - A dark carnival made in the image of Bowser himself, filled with rides, mazes, and fire. Players can pay 5 coins to influence where the 'Bowser Parade' goes, happens every 5 turns, trampling any player who isn't ready for it. The bank works in reverse, giving out a loan to any who pass and forcing the payment to who lands on it. The item shop forces a purchase on the player. The real deal Bowser finally appears, congratulating the group for making it this far before challenging the Super Star to a true test strength, swinging metal cap Bowser.

You all find yourselves in the airy Information Center room of 'Mario Land'. Named after the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, but instead of finding a statue of someone, you find Toad on a star rug. The small mushroom man waves his arms excitedly to get your attention. "Hello! Greetings, I'm Toad! And welcome to Mario Land!!!" He says with a large grin on his face. Explaining that Mario and his friends want to claim this land as their own, but so does Bowser. The first 'Super Star' will have the honor of naming the land after themselves. A wooden board springs in from the ceiling showing off the different lands being fought over. "Roll a die, land on a space, and party! Where would you like to go? We got Pirate Land, Western Land, Space Land, Mystery Land, Horror Land, or gulp Bowser Land!" To the north is a metal door containing a Warp Pipe to the boards. In the east is a small maintenance and stats room managed by some older toads. And finally west is a staircase up to Mini-game Land and it's colorful Minigame Trees. In case you only care about minigames.
