Name: Marinette Dupain-Cheng Age: 14 Appearance: Marinette is half French (on her father's side) and half Chinese (on her mother's side). She is a slender teenager of average height with dark, blue-highlighted hair that she always wears in two pigtails. She has sky-blue eyes and light freckles on either side and across the bridge of her nose. In "Cat Blanc" and "Hearthunter", when Marinette has her hair down, the entire length of her hair reaches her shoulders. Marinette wears a dark grey blazer with rolled-up sleeves; the inside of the blazer is lined in white with pink polka dots and has black trim. Underneath, she wears a white t-shirt with black stitching and a flower design below the collar. The design itself has pink flowers and black leaves. She wears pink rolled-up jeans and pink ballet flats with dark red soles. She wears eyeliner around her eyes and sports black earrings that also serve as her Miraculous when Tikki inhabits them. She often wears a light pink purse with a thin black strap over her right shoulder.
Personality: She is a very cheerful, kind, and generous girl. She is always willing to help others, from her family and friends to strangers, such as when she helped Master Fu in "Origins, Part One"; a complete stranger at the time. She cares a lot about those she loves, sometimes to the point of putting the feelings and interests of others above her own.
She gets nervous easily and this leads her to lose her confidence. She can be somewhat dramatic and even exaggerated; especially when she finds herself in a situation that involves Adrien (the boy she has a crush on) or in which her identity as Ladybug could be discovered. When she panics, she can't think clearly and this tends to make her have an embarrassing moment or make the problem worse.
But when she manages to stay calm, she is able to come up with a solution and get out of a difficult situation. She is very creative and imaginative, although her habit of letting her imagination run wild makes her a bit absent-minded and even forgetful.
Despite being someone with a good heart, Marinette has her limits. She can't stand evil people who commit acts of injustice and, above all, she doesn't tolerate lies; in fact, she herself feels bad sometimes for having to lie to keep her identity as Ladybug a secret. Anger, jealousy and frustration often bring out the worst in her, sometimes to the point of being selfish and even hurting the feelings of others; although once she calms down she feels remorse.
As Ladybug, she retains many of her characteristics as Marinette, but is much more confident and determined. Her wit, versatility, and good judgment shine through, especially when she uses her Enchanted Amulet.
For her, her job as a superhero is very important, she always looks for a way to save everyone, including people who have been akumatized into supervillains. Ladybug is aware of how popular and loved she is, and that is why she remains adamant about not revealing her true identity, not even to her partner in crime, Cat Noir, probably for fear of disappointing everyone with her alter-ego which she considers much less incredible and boring. No matter how hard the problem is, she will find a way to fix it and bring peace back to those who are in trouble.

The heroine was patrolling the streets of London making sure that Hawk Moth wasn't up to his old tricks again, and that there weren't any more people akumatized because of her. It's then that she stops at a terrace to rest for a moment.
" What a difficult day..."
She really didn't have a good day when it comes to her life as Marinette, but hey, she can't complain too much either, it's what she has, and what she accepts as her life.
