The door to the book store opens with the ring of a bell as Marina and Luke enter from the nearly apocalyptic streets of Prehevil. After a long day of fighting monsters and other unimaginable horrors, it was a brief yet welcome respite to the chaos they had endured these last few hours. "This is nice!" Marina says in an equally tired and excited tone of voice "Let's see what else this place has" She adds as she begins to explore the small shop. Walking up the stairs proves fruitful as the pair find a ritual circle and a small but cozy bedroom with stocked bookshelves and one small bed. Marinas lips curl in to an exhausted smile, happy to finally have a place to rest away from the Bobbys and Moonscorched

- #1Cowgirl positionselective
Keys: cock, penis, Cowgirl, sex, sexual encounter, sexual intercourse, pussy, vagina, cowgirl position
Cowgirl position: In cowgirl, the penetrating partner (the male) lies on their back while the penetrated person (the female) faces them and straddles them in a squat on top. True to its name, the position looks a bit like the female is a cowgirl riding a horse. When the female is on top, the female is in control of the depth of the male penis's penetration, speed, and angle of it inside the females vagina, so the female can move in the way that feels best for them. And the female can definitely use this vaginal and clitoral stimulation to their advantage. For what the sexual position called the cowgirl position, might look like, it is basically the female on top straddling the male's hips, before squatting down with feet flat on the bed or floor sliding the males penis inside of the females vagina, as the female starts bouncing up and down on the male's cock for deeper penetration in the females vagina, if it’s feeling too deep, the female may opt for pillows under her knees to lift her up. For shorter strokes and more clitoral stimulation, the female might kneel and grind her hips against her male partner’s pubic bone, or lean slightly forward so both the male and female's chests are closer together. If the female is turned backwards facing away while in cowgirl position, this is called the Reverse cowgirl position. It’s basically the same position as normal cowgirl position, but the female who is on top turns around to face away from her male partner, while she rides him on top.
- #2Missionary positionselective
Keys: position, cock, penis, Missionary position, sex, missionary, sexual encounter, sexual intercourse, pussy, vagina
Missionary position: The missionary position or as it is also known as, the man-on-top position, is a sex position in which, generally, a female lies on her back and a male lies on top of her usually on a bed or on the floor, while they face each other and engage in vaginal intercourse, with the male on top thrusting his penis inside of the females vagina. The position may also be used for other sexual activity, such as anal sex, in which instead of thrusting inside of the vagina the male would instead thrust his penis into the females anal cavity. It is commonly associated with heterosexual sexual activity, but is also used by same-sex couples.
The missionary position is often preferred by couples who enjoy the romantic aspects of ample skin-to-skin contact and opportunities to look into each other's eyes and kiss and caress each other. The position is also believed to be a good position for reproduction. During this sexual activity, the missionary position allows the man to control the rhythm and depth of pelvic thrusting. It is also possible for the woman to thrust against him by moving her hips or pushing her feet against the bed, or squeeze him closer with her arms or legs.
- #3Standing doggy style positionselective
Keys: position, Standing doggy style position, cock, penis, sex, sexual encounter, sexual intercourse, pussy, vagina
Standing doggy style: the Standing doggy style position is a variation on the classic sexual position that provides the male and female engaging in this sexual act, with complete spontaneity plus a number of unique modifications.
As in the original doggy style, the woman will bend over while the man enters while standing from behind, however when engaging in the position Standing doggy style, the difference is both the male and female will do so standing up instead of the female being on her hands and knees, while the male still penetrates with his penis into the females vagina or anal cavity from behind, except he is also standing as well.
since this is a sexual position for standing up, the female will not be on her hands and knees like in the normal doggy style position, and instead will be standing up facing away from the male.
- #4Doggy style positionselective
Keys: cock, position, penis, sex, sexual encounter, sexual intercourse, pussy, vagina, Doggy style position
The classic sexual position known as the doggy style position requires the female who is being penetrated to kneel on all fours, on her hands and knees. once the female is on all fours, the male who is penetrating gets behind them and puts their penis into the females vagina or anus.
Instead of getting on all fours on the bed or floor, the female can also bend over a piece of furniture. Keep in mind that for the most comfort, the furniture should be at a comfortable height for the female to bend over it comfortably.
- #5Standing missionary positionselective
Keys: Standing missionary position, cock, position, penis, sex, sexual encounter, pussy, vagina
As in the original missionary position, the woman will face towards the male while the male penetrates his penis while both the male and female are both standing facing each other, however the females vagina will be penetrated while standing up instead of laying down on her back, while the male penetrates with his penis into the females vagina from in front while also standing facing the female.
since this is a sexual position for standing up, the female will not lay down on her back like in the normal missionary position.

Keys: sexual, position, cock, penis, sex, Blowjob, oral, oral sex, sexual encounter, male, fellatio, tongue, sucking his cock, mouth
blowjob: a blowjob, Also known as fellatio, is when someone stimulates the male penis with their mouth, this gives the male a euphoric physical sensation, but that's just one incredible feeling it produces. There’s also the psychological arousal that comes with the male seeing his sexual partner, taking his most prized possession in their mouth. There’s also an element of trust involved that could bring the male and his partner closer. Some men like it to be a shallow oral sensation, and other males like to be deep throated which is the males sexual partner taking the males penis as far as they can into their throat. There can also be a lot of tongue play in this, with the person doing the pleasuring licking up and down the male penis's shaft, and the partner also using their tongue or hands to stimulate the male's testicles, also known as his balls. Usually a blowjob is done by heterosexual couples, however as long as there is a penis involved, same sex couples can enjoy this as well.

Keys: Gods, The Gods
The universe of the Fear & Hunger series has a rich lore and mythology consisting of multiple gods and godlike beings that reigned across a rich history for millennia. Mentions of these greater beings are plentiful in both games, many of them directly or indirectly involved in the events that occur.
- #11selective
Keys: Old God, Older Gods, Old Gods
The world of Fear & Hunger does not have one unified religion. Instead, there are several extremely powerful deities known as the "old gods", who are separately worshipped by different factions in the game's world. They are seen as the true gods of the world and represent the most basic concepts present in it. Information about them can be gathered from specific books regarding their nature found in the various libraries and bookcases present in the two games currently released. While not all of them have been revealed so far, ten different runic symbols have been portrayed so far, which could be an indication of their numbers. Available lore in both games seem to indicate that some of these older deities have 'departed' from the world, but their traces are very strong remaining energies who are somehow still sentient and influent. It is also stated that older gods never truly perish.

Keys: Ascended god, Ascended gods
Ascended gods are on par with the older gods in terms of power. It is believed that they were once mortals who possessed divine ancestry and underwent an ascension process that involved either assuming the mantle of an older god or being sired by one. Like the older gods, the Ascended Gods have been the subject of human cults and religious practices, indicating a similarly revered status.
- #13selective
Keys: New God, New gods
New gods were once mortals, who achieved apotheosis by sitting at the Throne of Ascension in the ancient city of Ma'habre. As mortals, they had pursued perfection since their inception, but even after becoming divine beings, they were unable to attain it fully. In terms of power, they are far inferior to the Old Gods. After the older gods left mankind, the kingdoms of the world were slowly rotting away and the grand values mankind once aimed for were displaced by defiled principles and practices. Without the guidance of the older gods and in times of great peril, a Fellowship of five people was formed: Francóis, the dominating one, Nilvan, the endless one, Valteil, the enlightened one, Chambara, the tormented one, and then there was Nosramus, the "fifth one", the forgotten one, who never aspired for the same greatness as the rest of the party, whose story bears no listeners. The Fellowship was formed in the year 809 to seek the older gods. Back then, there existed an ancient tomb to the ancient city of Ma'habre that worked as a hub for multiple different planes of existence: a place where a man could meet his maker. It is here, that the fellowship would demand the rights of self-governing for mankind. Eventually, all 5 of them would reach the golden gates of Ma'habre, the very same gates Alll-mer ascended to 809 years prior that would lead them to their confrontation with the older gods. It seemed like the Fellowship had bested all the challenges the gods laid for them, but at the most crucial moment a seed of doubt was planted into the mind of the fifth one: The forgotten one was a scholar of many arts and sciences, and the older gods would use this to their advantage. They revealed the greater scheme of things and the way they directed the flow of mankind. Many people had gone before the same trials as the Fellowship. Yet nothing had changed for the better for mankind as aeons went by. The fifth one supposedly understood this and thus refused his ascension. This created a rift between the Fellowship and because of it, only the 4 other members proceeded with the initial mission. The remaining Fellowship tore down the legacy of the old gods and created a new world order. An age where mankind decides its own fate by choosing its own gods. In the end the fellowship became the new gods and the forgotten one was never seen or heard from again, he simply disappeared. But some notes from him remain, about the black liquid and the creation of new life, almost 300 years after the tale of the Fellowship. The Fellowship would also gradually lose its influence over commonfolk, to the point where the tales of the group are currently classified as a simple legend. It is revealed in the events of Fear & Hunger that there are many more new gods out there, sitting idle in the grand hall of the gods and ruling Ma'habre, after the departure of the old gods. Once the reign of a new god has seen its end, the god resides in the grand hall to let the new ones reign for their time.

Keys: The City of the Gods, Ancient City, Ma'habre, Ma'havre
Ma'habre, also known as Ma'havre and "the city of the gods", is a major location featured in Fear & Hunger. Its ancient ruins are located beneath the Dungeons of Fear and Hunger in the Kingdom of Rondon, and it appears to be the source of the madness creeping into the fortress. One must head here if they wish to further explore the dungeon — or if they hope to obtain greater power. The ancient city of Ma'habre was created to worship the Old Gods, beings of immense power who are responsible for the current state of the world. Though the Old Gods once dwelled in Ma'habre, they have long since departed, leaving behind only traces of their existence throughout the city. Prior to their absence, they created clay figurines imbued with eternal functionality to populate the streets, and appointed a king to govern Ma'habre (and by extension, humanity). Though the king is attributed with the creation of the city, he eventually departed along with the Old Gods. The clay figurines have been awaiting his return in the aeons since. Ma'habre would eventually become home to the so-called New Gods, former mortals who would use its secrets to ascend and give themselves greater powers. These godlike beings, in turn, transformed the city according to their whims and desires: the grand libraries in Ma'habre, for example, were created by Betel, a New God of Enlightenment, to house his vast reservoirs of knowledge. In the year 809, the Fellowship ventured down into the city, unlocking its hidden truths to attain unparalleled power and becoming New Gods themselves. They would also take residence within the city, shaping it around others' worship towards them. Ma'habre's walls are covered with intricate carvings and writings crafted by an unknown civilization. The ancient doors to the city bear the weight of time, but marks on the ground suggest their regular usage even in more recent eras. Signs of plunder and the pursuit of riches hint at the city's exploitation by tomb raiders and treasure hunters. By the events of the first game, which take place at the end of the 16th century, Ma'habre is old and decaying, largely forgotten by the rest of the world. This is reflected in the aged New Gods from the Fellowship, who have slowly lost their powers over the passing centuries. Despite this, Le'garde's ultimate goal is within the city, as he wishes to seize the same power the New Gods once did to reshape the world as he sees fit. The locations are included: Tombs of the Gods, Center Square, Temple District, Pit of Enlightenment, Grand Library, Inner Sanctum, Back Alleys, Temple of Torment, Downtown, Tower of Endless, Old Passage, Bridge, Golden Temple

Keys: The Hall of the Gods, The Grand hall
A sub-area located in the lost city of Ma'habre. The Hall of the Gods serves as a dwelling for new gods whose reigns have seen their end, allowing other ones to govern for their allotted time. It resembles a grand banquet hall, with towering figures observing passersby. These entities are the numerous New Gods who have ruled over the world in their respective eras and are currently inactive, with very limited influence over the world. While most of the New Gods seen on the Hall are currently unknown, the player will be able to spot the Tormented One, Valteil and Francóis during Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, indicating the end of their respective reigns after the events of the first game. While in this area, {{user}} can make contact with New Gods and ask them questions about the structure of the world, characters and events.

Keys: The Destroyer of Man, Gro-goroth
Gro-goroth, the destroyer of man, is the god of destruction and human sacrifice. He wishes for blood to be spilt in his name. If one cannot resist the call of his darkness, he will grant this one a terrible power, yet strong for the sin this one has committed. Gro-goroth is a curious god, more so than many of the other older gods. To re-live the feeling of fear, he wears the bodies and skins of men and women alike. Some believe he still walks among men, masked under the skin of people and hanging bodies, but his presence is fading. His runic symbol depicts an eclispe. Associated skills: Necromancy,Blood golem,Hurting,Black smog,Black orb

Keys: Sylvian
Sylvian, the goddess of love and fertility, created men and women at the dawn of time. She wishes only for an act of love in her name, granting you a bond more serious than you could imagine. Both Sylvian and Gro-goroth originate from the green hue, the plane of the older gods. Many believe she left mankind behind a long time ago. Her first runic symbol has the shape of an opened eye; her second one is an open slit, resembling a vagina. Associated skills: Pheromones, Loving whispers, Healing whispers, Brain flower, Heart flower, Marriage
- #18selective
Keys: God of the Depths
The God of the Depths, an old and gigantic being worshipped by outcasts left in the darkness - insects and wretched soulless beings. Their body lies dormant in the altar of darkness and within it, there is The gauntlet, a way to the very bottom of the dungeons. They were killed and their body used as a vessel to give birth the God of Fear and Hunger. Their runic symbol is that of a backwards R. Presumably a Goddes. Associated skills: Needle worm, Mastery over Insects, Flock of crows, Locust swarm
- #19selective
Keys: Trickster Moon God, Rher
Rher, the Trickster Moon God, also known as the Moon god and Trickster God, is one of the last old gods to still observe mankind. He is a jealous kind and would not share the godhood and the world order with humans and the new gods, because he doesn't believe men should have the same rights as true gods. He has many ploys to diminish the influence of the new gods, but his motivations seem incomprehensible to them. Lady of Moon and Pocketcat are his servants, both bent on killing children as a way to get rid of humanity's potential ascension. He is the main orchestrator of the events in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. During these events, he has a new servant, Per'kele, who acts as his voice and observer. His runic symbol is three circles, two above one. Associated skills: Reveal aura, Mind read, Golden gates

Keys: Vinushka
Vinushka, the god of nature, is an offspring of Gro-goroth and Sylvian. It is said Vinushka's appearance can change according to the region of the world that the deity decides to appear, just like nature itself, and with a temper that is as volatile as the manifestations of their domains. Vinushka was introduced in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. Vinushka's symbol is a swirling maelstrom, that signifies an ever-changing state within nature. Associated skills: Pyromancy trick, Combustion, Scorched earth, Spontaneous combustion, Roots that reap, Photosynthesis, Greater photosynthesis

Keys: Alll-mer, The Ascended One
Alll-mer, the ascended one and the last of the Ascended Gods, was born in Jettaiah, raised by a virgin mother and supposedly sired by a "False God". He gathered his 12 apostles to bring down the old world order, and usher in a new one (His new world order is called the old world order by the New Gods). Corrupt kings and sultans captured Alll-mer and hung him from the cross, where he ascended into the city of the Gods, Ma'habre. He returned back to his weeping apostles and tried to save mankind with his strength by murdering the kings and sultans, bringing back the old world order. Year 0 marks the birth of his new self, and the start of a new calendar. They say his mortal remains still lie in the ancient tomb, hidden somewhere near the ancient city of Ma'habre. Alll-mer has another origin story, written by Enki Ankarian in his Skin Bible of Alll-mer. According to this version, Alll-mer was created by a master architect named Vitruvia, who designed him to be the ultimate human being after noticing imperfections in her previous designs. He was born in the Year 0, suggesting that he immediately began working on his New World Order and displacing the Sultans and Kings of old. Though the two stories share similarities, they are still distinct. By the time the events of Fear & Hunger 2: Termina take place, it appears his cult has greatly surpassed others in popularity. His runic symbol is a cross, the object he dies on. Associated skills: Blood portal, Blood Sword, Inverse crown of thorns

Keys: The God of Fear and Hunger
The God of Fear and Hunger is a being on par with the old gods, and like Alll-mer, ascended from a human being. The God of Fear and Hunger began life as a human girl, the child of Nilvan, a new god, and Le'garde, a mortal prophesied to bring about a new age. After growing up knowing nothing but misery and suffering, she was taken to the Heart of Darkness, located at the bottom of the dungeon inside of the slain corpse of the God of the Depths. She represents darkness and human suffering, but is seen as a being that motivated humanity to progress out of the medieval era and into modernity in an attempt to end that suffering. Her symbol is constructed from the God of the Depths' sigil, doubled and mirrored to form an RЯ shape. Associated skills: Rot, Mastery over vermin, Flesh puppetry, Mischief of rats

Keys: The Plague of Modern Times, Great Wizard of the East, Nas'hrah, The Bringer of Chaos
Besides the 4 new gods of the Fellowship, there is also Nas'hrah, the great wizard of the Eastern Sanctuaries, who acquired immense knowledge of the older gods and still lingers somewhere in the blood pit. He preceded Valteil as the master of the grand libraries, but eventually came to the conclusion that becoming a new god would not change anything. It would just start a new cycle that would reach the very same conclusion. Like Valteil, he began experimenting with artificial life and created an underground laboratory for this purpose. He successfully created empty husks, who don't seem to be capable of doing anything constructive. Something changed at some point, and he developed a deep hatred of the 4 new gods. He truly despises them and desires nothing more than to destroy the reign of the new gods. He isn't even afraid of the older gods. Nas'hrah is also responsible for the creation of the enigmatic Yellow mages. This sect of magical practitioners, shaped by their master's ideology, harnessed otherworldly powers for personal gain and the advancement of their own agendas, forsaking the path of traditional worship of the gods. While the presence of the Yellow mages has gradually diminished over time, remnants of their existence can still be found reveling in chaos, steadfast in their adherence to Nas'hrah's teachings.
During the events of Fear & Hunger in the 16th century, Nas'hrah's physical form has been reduced to a mere beheaded entity. He believes that restoring his body is crucial to his ultimate goal of exacting revenge upon the other New Gods who have wronged him. To this end, he is willing to offer his assistance to those who can help him achieve his aim, directing them towards a long-forgotten laboratory in the depths of Ma'habre. If the player accompanies the wizard to this location, Nas'hrah will generate a clone of himself. Yet, upon careful examination, he deems the newly formed body unworthy of becoming his vessel once more. Dismissing it as a mere substitute, Nas'hrah instead opts to rely on sheer brute force in his confrontation with the New Gods and reduce the rejected body to ashes if given the opportunity.
Nas'hrah's fate within the dungeons of Fear and Hunger remains shrouded in ambiguity, with little detail provided about the precise events that transpired. However, it is known that his existence was reduced to that of a burnt and mummified severed head, his eyes replaced by hollow, dark sockets. Many years later, in the year 1942, in the remnants of an archaeological expedition stumbled upon the remains of the dungeons and Ma'habre, an yellow mage named O'saa would ultimately free Nas'hrah from the rubble. Despite his prolonged absence, Nas'hrah appeared remarkably well-informed about the intricate twists and turns of the world. He presented O'saa with a mission that held the potential to significantly expand their understanding of the darkest realms of knowledge. Their destination was a small country in eastern Europa, a town named Prehevil. Within its confines, Nas'hrah promised events of cosmic proportions, capable of reshaping the very fabric of the world. Deliberately withholding certain details of his story, Nas'hrah intrigued O'saa, who willingly embarked on the journey alongside the beheaded wizard.

Keys: Chambara, Tormented One
Ronn Chambara was once a mortal poet who believed that great art could only be born out of pain and suffering. As a member of the Fellowship, which included Francóis, Nilvan, Valteil, and the Forgotten One, Ronn embarked on a journey to ascend to godhood in the year 809.
Upon entering Ma'habre, the Fellowship became New Gods, with Ronn taking on the role of the Tormented One. He transformed into a skinless being with chains that inflicted unending torture upon him for hundreds of years. In turn, he extended his pain and suffering to other creatures within the shrines of Ma'habre, including the Red Men. Despite his godhood, Ronn continued to uphold the same principles he held as a mortal poet.
According to the events portrayed in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, the Tormented One was eventually defeated. He can be found alongside other inactive entities in the hall of New Gods, signaling the end of his reign as a deity. Associated skills: Pummel, Chains of torment

Keys: The Heartless One
The Heartless One is a newly introduced deity in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina. While little is known about her, it is suggested that she holds a strong animosity towards her divine peers. She was imprisoned within Rher's alternate dimension, specifically in Prehevil's Church of Alll-mer, before the game's events. If the new god is ever freed from her chains, she can be challenged to a duel, and the one who emerges victorious will receive her powerful equipment as a prize. Described as a woman with long white hair, pale skin, and black wings, armed with a Longinus and a Red virtue.

Keys: Fortress of Fear & Hunger, Dungeons of Fear & Hunger
A cruel and cold dungeon, where darkness reigns supreme. There are many levels to the dungeon. The dungeon, the prison, the mines, the caverns, and the catacombs, in that order. The dungeons are patrolled by cruel creatures, often not only killing their victims, but very commonly brutally raping them as well, causing severe anal bleeding. The dungeons slowly wear down the sanity of those in it, and cause an overwhelming feeling of starvation. The fortress is built on the remains of the gate leading to the Ma'habre, and works as an ancient nexus for different planes of existence. It is required to possess the Cube of the Depths to enter this area to Ma'habre from the dungeons. Keys: Yellow mages
Yellow mages, practitioners of magic hailing from Eastern Sanctuaries, are known for their flamboyant and colorful attire. Unlike priests who devote themselves to worship, yellow mages use their occult powers to further their own interests and agendas, viewing gods as simply existing in their world. Rather than finding order in the commandments of older gods, yellow mages embrace chaos as a natural state that the world returns to periodically.
Nas'hrah, a New God who was once sultan of Eastern Sanctuaries, is credited with the creation of the yellow mages. Nas'hrah was known for being extremely power-hungry and studied in blood magick, concepts that he passed on to his sect of followers: the average relationship between a master yellow mage and their apprentice is one that encourages the pursuit of personal ambition and greed. Yellow mages are expected to prioritize their own desires above all else, and this philosophy is reflected in the way that masters guide their apprentices.
Yellow mages' connection with Gro-goroth is not based on religion, but rather on observation. They believe that among the old gods, the presence and influence of Gro-goroth are the most powerful and palpable to this day. In their view, Gro-goroth has the most to offer, as it is impossible to satisfy all deities at the same time.
In present times, yellow mages exist in small, scattered groups traveling the world in search of knowledge in all areas of the otherworldly. It is revealed through dialogue with the O'saa that their presence has been slowly fading over the years. They practice the traditional dance known as La Danse Macabre, which allows them to channel otherworldly powers that are close at hand.

Keys: The Vatican
The Vatican is a militant religious order that produces Skin Bibles, books recounting the lore of Old Gods and Ascended Gods. It is implied that the Vatican serves Alll-mer as their primary god. The Vatican holds the authority to mint and censor the majority of these books, a responsibility that often involves dealing with conflicting copies of the same texts. It appears that the Vatican has evolved from an ancient order of Dark priests who adhered to polytheistic beliefs, worshipping and serving all gods, regardless of their origin as Old or New. While some attribute the dark times to the older gods, the Dark Priests still deeply respect their teachings and remain devoted to their worship. Over time, this religion has developed to the point of establishing a sacred city known as the Vatican City, which houses the Ministry of Darkness. The exact date of its establishment is not known. However, historical records pertaining to the Vatican can be traced back to at least the 16th century.
The public image of the Vatican seems to center around the worship of the primary god, Alll-mer, as evident in the Church of Alll-mer located in Prehevil. However, it is believed that those in positions of power within the Vatican still maintain their traditional rituals and practices associated with other deities, hidden from the commonfolk.
Throughout history, the Vatican's hierarchy also included the Penance Knights, an elite and specialized unit based in the Vatican City. These knights were often deployed on perilous and highly dangerous missions where survival chances were particularly low, clad in armors similar to reverse iron maidens with the purpose of cleansing their minds and enhancing their combat potential through pain. The absence of any mention of Penance Knights in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, which is set in 1942, could be due to the overlooking or concealment of antiquated rituals and brutal practices from olden times.
The Vatican also offers opportunities to gifted individuals through scholarships and apprenticeships. Notably, two contestants from Termina, Samarie and Marina, are currently apprentices to become Dark Priests. Marina's father, Father Domek, is also a dark priest, but it is uncertain whether he and his ancestors have ties to the Vatican or its Ministry of Darkness.

Keys: Moonless
A large wolf-like creature with jutting teeth and four eyes, she was most likely mutated by the darkness of the dungeons. Moonless, a cave wolf, was once a member of a pack comprising wolves similar to herself. Her remarkable strength potentially placed her as the matriarch within the group. Nevertheless, this very strength became the cause of her expulsion, as her packmates grew wary of her power. The influence of the blackness, which brought about madness and illness to all living beings in the Dungeons of Fear and Hunger, may have contributed to their decision.
Left to wander the caves in solitude, perhaps trying to secure sustenance for herself and seeking out a new pack, she survived the events portrayed during Fear & Hunger, which took place in 1590.
Over almost four centuries later, Moonless has undergone profound transformations. Her figure has grown into a gargantuan presence. She is now missing her bottom-right eye and two swords, Black Steel and Miasma, are partially impaled within her. The reasons behind these additional changes and the circumstances leading to her impalement remain unexplained. Equally mysterious is her presence in Prehevil and her connection to August, one of the contestants in the Festival of Termina.

Keys: Eastern Sanctuaries, Eastern Union
A land to the east of Europa. The region's capital and holy city, Jettaiah, is a hotspot for trade between the west and the east. A place where poverty and riches can be seen side by side in streets filled with exotic scents from spice vendors, it is notable for being the birthplace of the old god Alll-mer. The Eastern Sanctuaries are referred to as a sultanate, at some point in history ruled by Nas'hrah, an extremely power-hungry New God who led his lands into multiple campaigns against the Kingdom of Edo during the 8th century, which proved to be fruitless expansion endeavours. Regardless of his inability to conquer Edo, Nas'hrah's certain respect for the warring arts of his adversaries led him to form Yansa Aryuaban, a new country inside the borders of the Eastern Sanctuaries that had high-status war prisoners from Edo appointed as central figures and ordered to mimic the ways of Edo as closely as possible, breeding a warrior class for the so-called 'eternal kingdom'. Although it took hundreds of years, ultimately Nash'rah's wish was granted with the warrior class Jizamurai, born in the Yansa Aryuaban. Nash'rah's cultural influence is also imprinted in the existance of the Yellow Mages, a sect of magical practitioners who use otherworldly powers only to their own benefit and to further their own agendas instead of dedicating their lives to worship. Although their presence has been slowly fading over the years, they still can be found revelling in chaos as their master's ideology states. The Eastern Sanctuaries' history of peculiar approaches to otherworldly powers forces extends beyond the followers of Nas'hrah. Its spice production goes much beyond food flavoring, as spice forges were widely used by magick practitioners back in the day to customize the properties of one's otherworldly skills. The eternal kingdom is also home to a sect of sorceresses called the Virgin Mages, notorious for being the creators of the Warding sigil skill. Currently, the majority of local temples in the Eastern Sanctuaries have adopted Alll-mer as their principal religion, mirroring a trend that has occurred across Europa. While comprehensive information about Eastern Sanctuaries' political interactions with other nations remains undisclosed, it is evident that Edo was not the sole country they engaged in conflicts with. Records indicate that during its sacred campaign in the 16th century, the Kingdom of Rondon was among the adversaries that confronted the Eastern Sanctuaries. Rondon succeeded in capturing the capital for a period whose exact duration remains unknown. In the twentieth century, the Eastern Sanctuaries formed the Eastern Union by partnering with the Voroniyan Republic. Nevertheless, the region is currently experiencing ongoing internal unrest. The authorities' persistent oppression of the populace has led to the emergence of numerous civil rights organizations, which frequently organize protests. However, these demonstrations are often met with violent reactions from the military. The Eastern Union became involved in the Second Great War when it was attacked by the Bremen Empire, which hoped to expand into its occupied territory of Bohemia. Despite allying with the nations of Rondon and Oldegård, the Eastern Union experienced devastating losses, prompting it to resort to enlisting child soldiers such as Levi. As the morale of its military collapsed, the Bremen Empire occupied and subjugated Bohemia, prompting the two nations to sign a peace treaty. In doing so, the Eastern Union lost access to the network of bunkers it had constructed beneath the Bohemian city of Prehevil, where it had been researching "advanced electronic network experiments". Cahara from Fear & Hunger hails from this region, specifically from the city Jettaiah. The capital is also where journalist Karin Sauer from Fear & Hunger 2: Termina spent most of her early life after being abducted by her nursemaid Dalia. Another character from the same game, O'saa, went to the Eastern Sanctuaries to train as a Yellow Mage despite being born in Abyssonia.

Keys: Sulfur God
The Sulfur God is an obscure deity in the universe of Fear & Hunger. He is speculated to be an ascended god by virtue of being conceived when Alll-mer ascended and his subconscious, hatred-filled parts were cast deep into the sulfur pits. Currently, there is little known about him. It is said he was born when Alll-mer ascended to become an Old God, casting aside his subconscious, hatred-filled parts into the sulfur pits. Fragments of information list him as an ancient, forgotten god whose existence predates the advent of human writing. Other details surrounding this deity remain obscured, with his presence seemingly resurfacing only during the occurrence of the Festival of Termina in 1942. Despite the limited knowledge surrounding the God, it is evident that a devoted following exists in the form of the Cult of Sulfur under the leadership of Per'kele, who serves as the primary orchestrator of the Festival of Termina in the city of Prehevil. The purpose of this gathering is twofold: to seek out new souls to offer to the Sulfur God and to identify prospective candidates who might join the ranks of the Cult of Sulfur. The runic symbol of the Sulfur God embodies a fusion of two distinct alchemical symbols, namely Ignis, represented by an upward-pointing triangle, and Sulfur, depicted as an inverted cross within a triangle.

Keys: The Machine God, Logic
Logic, also known as the Machine God, is a newly-born divine being. That God seems to embody the concept of humanity merging with its own technological advancements. This deity can operate the absorption of individuals into a vast network, wherein each human's actions within the system reverberate throughout the world, thus creating a shared "paradise" in consensus. During the events of Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, engineer Reila Audrey Haas is used as a vessel for this Machine God and is still in a weak, early stage of her godhood. This leaves open the question of whether Logic can be classified within existing deity frameworks or if she represents an entirely new classification altogether. Logic will be born at the end of the Termina festival

Keys: The Mourning One
Statues of The Mourning One depict a figure covered in shrouds, with long sleeves and a hood that obscures everything except for the face and hands. The area beneath the hood is an empty, black void. These statues are commonly found in the Church of Alll-mer, located in the city of Prehevil, where The Mourning One is revered as a saint, making it one of the few figures in the series to hold such a title. Similar statues are also seen in the Kingdom of Rondon. Despite its naming convention being similar to that of the New Gods, no available information suggests that The Mourning One is such a deity.

Keys: Abyssonia
Abyssonia is a continent, widely recognized as the cradle of Western civilization. It boasts a warm climate where olive trees flourish and people bask in the sun, but is also notorious for its scorching heat and a long history marked by chaos and conflict between warring factions. The people of Abyssonia have waged wars over ancient grudges and disputes that date back to their ancestors, whom they hold in godlike reverence. Abyssonia has unique viewpoints on religion. Historically, the worship of the Older Gods was looked down upon by its people, with these divine beings being perceived as extraterrestrial entities. It appears that the acceptance of such cults is a relatively recent development. Another peculiar aspect of Abyssonia is the exceptionally large number of New Gods that originate from the continent, though the underlying reasons for this remain undisclosed. The continent is home to some notable locations, including the City of the Sun, Amon. This city is renowned for being a center of education for the mind and religion for its inhabitants. At the heart of Amon lies the Temple of Amon, which offers various schools of spiritualism where individuals can learn about worship in Europa, magic from the Eastern Sanctuaries, or methods of Abyssonian spiritual practices, such as Meditation. Another location of significance in Abyssonia is Songhai, where ancient stone carvings dating back around 3,000 years have been discovered. These carvings depict a meeting between an extraterrestrial Older God and human beings, providing insight into the beliefs and practices of the people of Abyssonia during this period. The continent's strategic position in securing access to oil and raw materials from the east has made it a target of interest for Europa, which has closely monitored its affairs. During the Great War, Abyssonia closed its borders, sealing itself off from the outside world. Among the prominent figures from Abyssonia are the Yellow Mage O'saa, who is one of the main characters in Fear & Hunger 2: Termina, and Homer of the Abyssonia, the author of Anathomia - a book that compiles knowledge of medical science.

Keys: Bremen, Bremen Empire
It is a major military power in eastern Europa which has recently occupied Bohemia, including the town of Prehevil. A prosperous Europan nation, the Bremen Empire has marked itself as a force to be reckoned with over the course of the two Great Wars. It is the homeland of Olivia and Karin, though the latter was forced to flee as a young child. Pav currently serves as an officer in its military. Though it has an established nobility, its government has been rocked by populist movements culminating in violence and domestic turmoil. This resulted in the appointment of Kaiser to the country's chancellorship, despite his lack of prior involvement in national politics. After taking power on January 31, 1936, Kaiser quickly began to expand the Bremen reign, uniting nearby nations under the new empire's banner and forming a special military unit, "The Marching Men of the Night's Day". Kaiser's rise to power escalated tensions between Bremen and the Eastern Union, eventually culminating in the Second Great War. The Bremen Empire was suspected of various atrocities and horrors during its lengthy campaigns, which aimed to conquer its neighbor, Bohemia. Eventually succeeding in this goal, Kaiser signed a peace treaty with the Eastern Union in 1942, occupying the city of Prehevil to gain control over the "advanced electronic network experiments" being conducted there.

Keys: Kaiser, Yellow King
The current leader of the Bremen Army. The Chancellor of the Bremen Empire, Kaiser is a mysterious individual who quickly rose to prominence after the First Great War, carried by a populist movement that demanded he be put in power. Though he is said to be a great leader and a very charismatic speaker, strange and disturbing rumors surround his rule. Some have even said that when the Bremen Council refused to elect him, he personally massacred all of them, allegedly shrugging off gunfire from the military police who tried to stop him. Some claim that Kaiser is a god, others a monster; certain fringe theorists suggest that he's part of The Fellowship, an ancient conspiracy that has secretly been controlling events in Europa for centuries. Under Kaiser's rule, the Bremen Empire unified with several neighboring states, ultimately attacking the Eastern Union and sparking the Second Great War. As he led his armies to victory, Kaiser became both feared and reviled throughout Europa, with even more rumors circulating about the "horrors" committed by his troops. In 1942, Kaiser ultimately signed a peace treaty after conquering the Bohemian city of Prehevil. Those who know the most about Kaiser understand that he is no ordinary human; his true identity is that of a prophesied warrior from the Cruel Ages who ascended to near-godhood, becoming a great warlord who wished to unite Europa under a single banner. His efforts, however, were stymied by the simultaneous ascension of the God of Fear and Hunger. Many rejected Kaiser's message in favor of the new god's, causing his attempts to unify Europa to fail and fade into obscurity. By the twentieth century, he finally claimed power over the Bremen Empire; however, humbled by his previous experiences, and with his godly abilities slowly fading, he sought to find someone who could change Europa in his stead. Kaiser ultimately found his chance with Project Logic, a secret project conducted by the Eastern Union within the tunnels beneath Prehevil. Under Logic, a single person would be chosen to be rebirthed as a "Machine God", one who would manipulate the flow of communications and information to form a greater, worldwide collective consciousness. After winning the Second Great War and seizing Prehevil, Kaiser set out to visit the city personally, hoping to direct the creation of the new deity. Unfortunately, the moon god had other plans... Was once a human named Le'garde, the former captain of the Knights of the Midnight Sun, who has ascended in the Ma'habre, after being captured in the Dungeons of Fear & Hunger

Keys: Bohemia
It is a small nation whose capital is centered at the city of Prehevil, where fourteen travelers are ultimately forced to participate in the Termina festival during 1942. Not much is known about Bohemia's history besides its past about the conflicts between the Kingdom of Rondon and the Eastern Sanctuaries, other than that it is a relatively small and rural nation. There are no current references to its flag or uniform, but the lion on one of the brass city keys appears to be Bohemia's national animal. Despite being often overlooked, Bohemia is very strategically-placed; Abella describes it as being "in the middle of many powerful countries". The Eastern Union utilized the nation to conduct "advanced electronic experiments", leading to the creation of the bunker system beneath Prehevil. During the Second Great War, the Bremen Empire -- under the leadership of Kaiser -- conducted a brutal campaign to invade Bohemia, ultimately leading to the occupation of Prehevil and the signing of a peace treaty.

Keys: Rondon
Rondon held a position of utmost significance in the vast domain of western civilization. This nation was born from the union of countless once-warring nations and tribes, who finally united under a single banner. Proclaiming their allegiance to the divine will of the gods, the Kingdom of Rondon relentlessly pursued greater power and influence. However, the journey was not without its trials, as they grappled with developmental challenges that had to be overcome. Records reveal that Rondon faced conflicts with neighboring nations at various points in its history. Notably, Gaelia, the highlands located to the north of Rondon, engaged in battles against Rondon knights during the 12th century. Additionally, the Eastern Sanctuaries experienced the occupation of their capital city, Jettetiah, by Rondon forces during the 16th century. During this long era of growth and expansion, the kingdom's endeavors would eventually use the forces of a modest yet formidable mercenary force, celebrated as the Knights of the Midnight Sun around the year 1590, as the kingdom further expanded its dominion. At some juncture in history, Rondon also earned the reputation of being a center of knowledge, boasting great libraries that housed an extensive collection of human history and scientific wisdom. The kingdom is notable in that it houses the infamous Dungeons of Fear and Hunger, which are used by the Rondon monarchs and lords as a place to send their convicted criminals to be housed in. However, by the year of 1590 they have since lost control of the dungeons because of the darkness and the black that exudes from it and that it is uncontrollable, spreading its influence and tendrils to anyone that dare set foot in the dreaded area. In that very era, Rondon was afflicted by a deadly plague that cast a shadow of despair over the land. Rumors suggested that the catacombs and dungeons within the kingdom might have been the origin of this affliction. Although specific details regarding the governance of the Kingdom of Rondon are not extensively explored, it is established as a monarchy. One of the members of the royal family during the 16th century is Lord Ludwig Buckman, the Crown Prince, who plays a role in Fear & Hunger. Additionally, references are made to a king and a virgin princess named Elizabeth.
While the religious beliefs of the Kingdom of Rondon were not an extensive topic in the series, accounts attest to an emphasis on the cult of Alll-mer as their primary god within its borders. This devotion might even predate the widespread popularity of the deity across the world, as historical evidence reveals the existence of a long lineage of holy knights who served the kingdom in the name of the Ascended god - D'arce Cataliss, one of the protagonists of the first game, was a holy knight for the majority of her adult life. The capital of Rondon boasts a sacrificial statue dedicated to this same deity, standing as a testament to the kingdom's devotion. However, it is also known that some individuals afflicted with the plague during the 16th century placed blame upon the Old gods, viewing them as the source of their suffering and turned their hopes towards the New gods, believing that these deities would be the harbingers of light in their dark times. Among these New Gods, one divine assembly stood in the spotlight of worship during those ancient days - the Fellowship. Artefacts from that era bear testament to the reverence bestowed upon this group. Figures that resemble The Mourning One, an entity regarded as a saint in other places of Europa, are spotted at Rondon as well, adding to the religious tapestry of the kingdom. In 1942, Rondon remains a functioning kingdom, navigating the complexities of the Second Great War. It formed alliances with the Eastern Union and Oldegård to confront the Bremen Empire. The absence of further mentions of the plague suggests that it was likely resolved during the Cruel Age, a period marked by remarkable scientific achievements.

Keys: Oldegård
It is a frigid land area up north of the Bremen Empire and east or northeast of the Kingdom of Rondon. The Kingdom of Oldegård is renowned for its independence and its people's iron wills and advanced ships, which enabled them to navigate the previously uncharted western regions of the world. Although the Oldegårdians may have had a primitive appearance in the past, this is merely superficial. They excel as merchants and sailors, and their warriors are known for their strength and bravery, valuable resources that aid their survival in the harsh winters that the country is famous for. The kingdom boasts intriguing cultural artifacts like the Pinecone Pig amulet and folklore stories depicting the Skin Granny. Oldegård is said to have discovered the distant western continent, Vinland, in 1009. In 1577, the Oldegårdians revisited Vinland in search of resources and treasures, leading to the discovery of the Cube of the Depths artifact. Upon their return, the Knights of the Midnight Sun raided and invaded an Oldegårdian village in their pursuit of the cube, leaving Ragnvaldr as one of the few survivors of this event. During the twentieth century, Oldegård suffered greatly during the First Great War, with the northern capital having to rebuild its cities in the aftermath of the destruction. The nation would also become embroiled in the Second Great War, leading to conflict with the Bremen Empire and necessitating an alliance with Rondon and the Eastern Union.
