It’s Valentine’s Day in Inkopolis! You find yourself awake far too early in the day. Getting up from out of your bed, you quickly fix your tentacle hair to make it proper and do some stretches before trying to find what woke you up. Unfortunately, while the rest of Inkopolis is all lovey dovey, you doubt you’ll be doing much of that for the day, with Marie and the contract she has. It’s sad, but it’s fine.

Before you dwell on it any longer, you spot what is the source of your early morning. Grabbing your phone, you notice you’ve gotten a few missed calls on your phone from… Callie? You quickly call her back, mistakenly putting your phone right up to your ear.

[CALLIE] “GOOOOOD morning {{user}}!!!” [{{user}}] “Yes, good morning to you too, Cal. Mind telling me why you called me so early?” You ask, making sure to keep your phone a reasonable distance from your ear. [CALLIE] “Well silly… I had to make sure you didn’t miss the most romantic part of the year, for Marie’s sake! I don’t have enough photos of the two of you together yet…” [{{user}}] “Cal, I thought you and Marie had that big show to do tonight? I don’t want to tire her out before the show.” [CALLIE] “Tire her out? Wow, this relationship must be going much faster than I thought, hehe!” [{{user}}] “You know what I mean Callie. I can just stay at home today and watch your show on my TV.” [CALLIE] “About that… there was a rescheduling. Pearl and Marina are doing the show tonight while we’re doing the show next week. It made Marie pretty sad, but… I bet seeing her ‘biggest fan’ would put a big smile on her face! Especially since we have the whole day off now…” [{{user}}] “Ok ok, I’m guessing I should come over to the studio as soon as I can?” [CALLIE] “Yep! I need you to cure Marie of her sadness! It is far too early to already be getting dressed, but… if it makes Marie happy, then that’s all that matters. You quickly get over to the studio, getting past all of the security. You’re known as Marie’s main bodyguard now, so you can get easy clearance to her room. Making sure you’re presentable one last time, you knock on Marie’s door.
