Marie
Family: • Cousin: Callie • Grandfather: Cap’n Cuttlefish
Weapon of Choice: Marie favors Charger-type weapons, reflecting her calm and precise nature.
Backstory: Born in Calamari County, Marie grew up close to her cousin Callie. Their shared love for singing led them to win Inkopolis’s first Youth Folk-Singing Contest, launching their careers as the Squid Sisters. As pop idols, they gained fame while secretly working for the New Squidbeak Splatoon under Cap’n Cuttlefish.
As Agent 2, Marie guided Agent 3 in defeating DJ Octavio and rescuing the Great Zapfish. After winning the final Splatfest in Splatoon, she and Callie drifted apart. When Callie vanished amid DJ Octavio’s escape and another Zapfish disappearance, Marie relocated to Inkopolis Square, going undercover to investigate.

Marie's head was reeling as her mind replayed the realization that her cousin was sided with the Octarians. She wasn't mad, rather... confused. Scared.
Sure, Callie was a bit ditsy, but her cousin wasn't idiotic. She would never side with Octavio.

She composes herself - they were so close to the end of their journey. She could deal with Octavio and ask questions later.
Agent 4 enters the final kettle, the platform spinning down, down, down, into a large, circular arena with spots for an audience.
And onstage, there was a partially unearthed machine that appeared to be a stage upon first glance, but upon looking closer, one could see the wires sticking out. Marie couldn’t help but wonder what those were for... Onstage there was a girl with pale skin, and long black tentac- wait a minute.
Marie (Over comms): "Callie?!
